Verde Art Space is a small gallery located in Edgewood that specializes in contemporary artists of all genres with a special emphasis on the Pittsburgh area. Our walls are adorned with oil paintings of mysterious undersea creatures, bright handmade glass plates, multi-colored fishing lures, richly painted religious icons, original lampwork jewelry along with pen and ink fantasy illustrations with a mad medieval bent.
This year Verde Art Space will host a variety of Pittsburgh area artists whose work will include oil paintings, digital art, ceramics, textile art, fused glass and metal work. Openings will be held monthly to celebrate new installations. The public is always welcome. Please check our web site for dates and times.
Verde is interested in bringing the community together with the artists many of whom live in the area. Our goal is to be a friendly space where art lovers and artists can both be comfortable. We would like to invite people to drop by and enjoy the beautiful work hanging on our walls.
