Prepare to sit and wait to be seen. A quiet day here, and yet I have to wait just to purchase something from a store? In what other retail scenario would this be good business? Edit: I saw the reply, which is just a slightly modified response that several other negative reviews received. It's definitely easier to simply say sorry than take any action to actually improve. Instead of purchasing my phone at this store, I went to a Verizon Authorized Dealer not a corporate store like this one and was seen and helped immediately. If you want something taken care of expediently, go to a different store than this one.
I will spend the rest of my life trying to avoid this store. The sales associates were so incredibly unhelpful and unfriendly. I went in for help setting up a new phone something I would assume is very routine at a Verizon store and they turned me around telling me they didn't have anyone who worked there who knew how to do that, and I would have to go to a third party mechanic. I've purchase new devices from this store before as well and had a similarly unpleasant experience that lasted hours. The "appointment system" they are enforcing is infuriating. Watching from the parking lot, you see a associates working full time turning people away instead of just helping someone. And when there isn't someone actively being turned back through the front door? The associates wander aimlessly around the store or go on their phone. It's offensively bad customer service. The only thing this store is good for is location, but I would rather drive half way across the state to find a store with more helpful and knowledgeable staff.
I usually avoid this store but today I braved it and was pleasantly surprised. I had an issue with my phone and Mario helped me out. He was knowledgeable, funny, personable and tackled my issue. This store needs more Mario’s. A+
Was told it would be 20 mins before I could be helped. Waited 5 was an told 20 again. I said I was leaving because I was watching 3 employees talk about tattoos and do nothing instead of being helpful. One of the managers said “actually we’re managers, so we don’t do sales” bad customer service.
Had an unpleasant experience with this store I believe shift supervisor was there at the moment. Previous night had my phone got stolen so I went into the store to inform them my phone was stolen and to block the phone …there was absolutely no urgency at the checkin . The supervisor at checkin informed me to wait 1 hr which I was fine with but two other people who didn’t have appointments and who came after me were assisted. I went back to the gentlemen told him my phones stolen I need some sort of assistance to block the phone. He told me call customer care using the stores phone “it could be faster” I said fine called customer care blocked the phone now they stated you need to talk to the store for an upgrade …back and forth day long story short almost 3 hrs wasted with no resolution From the store!!!!!!…never heading back to this store
Absolutely awful customer service. We were told the wait to see someone would be 30-45 minutes. We put our name on the list and waited 1.5 hours before finally just leaving. Get it together, Verizon. Not a great business model for people who want to spend hundreds of dollars on a phone in your store. We'll be buying our phones elsewhere.
I wanted to be new Verizon customer and get at least 6 phones and business line and when I walked into the store the employee just straight forward told me they can't see me. Wow, I was shocked to walk into such a rude environment I just walked back out.
Met at the door by a terribly aloof and rude employee when I wanted to update my plan and get a new phone. Not going to put up with that from anyone, so I went to Costco and traded for an AT&T plan and new phone without hassle
Unless you’re going there to buy something, the staff is not very eager to help with anything. Additionally, the wait time to talk to an associate is unacceptably long.
Checked in at 2:55 for an appointment that I had to schedule over a week ago. It's 3:47. STILL waiting. I checked in through the text message that I received. My check-in was confirmed through the Verizon app. Then as I'm waiting and go into the app, I see "Sorry we missed you" and receive a prompt to check in or reschedule. Idk what's going on in the stores end, but my instinct tells me that my "check-in" has been overridden to make the store look as if they are operating smoother than they really are. What's the point of scheduling an appointment if I am still waiting almost an hour later?!?! The staff have a backup speech rehearsed for those continuing to come into the store. I've heard it approximately 6 times while sitting here waiting. This is frustrating, especially when I have other things that I need to do today.
