All around exceptional. The room, the service, the amenities, the location - all amazing. Walk to cute little local restaurants, shopping, liquor store, and dispensary. We stayed in the single bedroom suite; it was AMAZING. Flattop stove, microwave/convection oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer. A short walk to the market and we were set for the week. A luxurious bathroom, comfortable bed, patio - we loved everything about our stay. If you want to skip the expensive private trip to Aspen, it’s a short walk to the bus stop and free. The nearby hiking is great and the valet service is amazing. Aaron was exceptional - helping us find the best hiking in town. Will absolutely be staying at Viceroy again.
I loved our time at the Viceroy it is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. The service was good not great which for the price was slightly underwhelming. Overall I would stay again. I think it’s apparent the valet is paid more than front desk which results in great service there but ok service at the front desk.
It's a lovely hotel, and the people are mostly pleasant enough. The rooms are very nice. The in room coffee is not hot, which I found odd. The coffee shop was seriously sub par. Stick to an iced coffee to be less disappointed. Drinks and food are insanely expensive, and opening/closing times were inconsistent and not as advertised.y biggest complaint, however was the lack of suitable wifi.
Family holiday of a lifetime ! We have just returned from a 7 day holiday that can only described as a WOW experience from start to finish. Where do I start. The valet team pick you up at the airport. Vi the Viceroy Snowmass resident dog greets you in the lobby each day. The suites are clean, well maintained, family friendly complete with a kitchen and washing / drying facilities. The ski in / ski out concierge service is a game changer. All your ski passes / boot / ski fittings can be done within the property. Each morning your boots and skis are ready. The hotel leads directly on the slopes and the Assy Chair. The end of day hot tub is must. The F&B team are superb and can cater to your needs. Toro the signature restaurant is open daily for breakfast and dinner. Thank you to Suman, Oscar and Gurav for looking after us each day. Special thanks to Luke and Sharon who are always present in the lobby asking how your day was and how they can assist. Keith from the valet team is always on hand to assist with transportation to Aspen. Aubrey from the Concierge team assists with all your questions prior to your stay. And finally, Robert Purdy the GM leads the team and is always available to answer your questions or give you tips on where to dine or ski each day. Our family travelled with 5 other families - and everyone of us are rebooking for 2024. Thank again to the entire Snowmass team for an awesome and special holiday.
Experience went great. Concierge very friendly and super helpful, Melisa was excellent. Lobby is very nice, front desk attendants very cordial. Lobby has couches to sit next to the fire and a nice coffee shop too. The main restaurant is very good. The pool area is very nice. The ski rental service was amazing, great customer service and awesome to ski right from the hotel. The lift is a few feet downhill, so you just need to wear your skis and it takes you to the main ski plaza to start your day.
The Viceroy Snowmass is the nicest property within Snowmass Village and one of the top ski hotels in the country. Our last two stays in the area we home based in the town of Aspen and loved it. With that being said, we were a little concerned that Snowmass Village wouldn't be as lively but ended up really liking the hotel and the surrounding area. It definitely has a quieter and more laid back feel versus staying in downtown Aspen, the scenery here is absolutely stunning. In any event we'd certainly stay at the Viceroy again, the 1 bedroom suite with a den was a great room and the village/mall area has plenty of nice shops and restaurants to keep you busy, we loved the whole summer experience!
Accommodations close to Snowmass ski lifts and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and other events in Snowmass. The hotel rooms are modern with comfort in mind and provided everything I needed for my stay. Guest Services and Concierge was kind, friendly, and very helpful.Rooms: 5/5
Our Anniversary stay was great because of staff managing and maintaining superb accommodations and providing over the top service. Everyone we talked to or requested assistance from was prompt to provide all the information you needed. Antonio and Keith from the Bell staff, are great and curious. Happy the chauffeur you any where near and far. Jason in the bar providing mixology services and flavorful menu recommendations. And Rosa at the poolside Nest Bar & Grill. Attentive and quick with the drink from water to ice cold Tequila on the rocks. And always addressing you by proper Surname or first name if you shared that with her. And then, Sherry Director of Banquets & Catering. She saw us at the pool and struck up conversation and once she heard it was our Anniversary, she surprised us with wonderful dessert treat. Jason, Sherry, Keith, Rosa and Antonio and a host of others including Luke, make the Viceroy Snowmass a destination I will look forward to again. Ed & Sharon
Terrible service all around, the front desk and service staff in the restaurant are terrible. The restaurant was nearly empty and the waiter was very visibly annoyed that we were there. I stayed with 2 friends so we asked for a split check and the waiter sighed very loud while rolling his eyes then return and slammed the checks on the table. The gratuity is automatically charged even for 1 person so it seems the waiter doesn’t care to do anything because he knows he will receive a hefty tip regardless. Tons of extra fees charged in wherever they get a chance. Very over priced for such poor service.
From the moment we arrived, a warm welcome. The cozy rooms, aesthetics, location, pool, it was a perfect experience and we cant wait to come back next year. True hospitality from the team!Rooms: 5/5
