Pretty good food, but service was very slow and dishes came almost one at a time every 5-10 minutes. They mixed up our orders twice, but it tasted good so there was no other issue. But taking a star off because they did not inform us that they ran out of a chicken dish, and instead we waited a while before asking and they gave us another dish as replacement.
Food is great, but customer service is lousy. Typical noble China style. If you expect to be treated as a customer, this is not the place for you. They don’t greet you, no thank you to you and disregard your comments. Dim sum quality is good, but prices have gone up by $3 per dish since the pandemic. Very luxurious to dine at this restaurant! We have been here for banquet dinners a couple of years back. Dinner dishes are good too.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Vancouver, authentic and delicious Chinese dishes, large portions, great service and reasonable prices as compared with other local restaurants. Will recommend to anyone who craves for dim sum and Chinese dishes.
Standard food but worst customer service ever. The server spilled the sauce on the table and no one tried to make the table looked at least less messy. I can take away the one star if u can. Not joking
My mother and I enjoyed a light dinner at Victoria Chinese Restaurant today as we had a late lunch. The food at this restaurant is very authentic, fresh and delicious. We received excellent services from the staff even though we didn't order the normal variety of dishes. I was very impressed and considering the online rating doesn't do justice to this nice restaurant. I would recommend it to whoever looks for an authentic and very reasonable traditional Chinese restaurant in the financial district of downtown Vancouver.
Great older style food as you got back in the 80's Hong Kong. But they managed to be even worse service than your average dim sum restaurant... Of course unless you are one of thoseregular
we took a group of friends from cruise ship to have dinner here, where they can walk back without fighting with traffic. The whole meal was delicious, thumbs up to the Chef on the sweet & sour pork, really fresh and tasty dish. Crabs, duck were all good. Parking: found out there is free parking underground, will know for next time !
It was my first time at the restaurant and will be my last. Food was mediocre and the shrimp dumplings were spoiled. Portions were also small. Despite the inedible dumplings and bare minimum service, the server told me I was required to give them at least 15% tip when I was going to give 12%.
Had a very enjoyable time here eating some authentic hong kong dim sum. Ordered a few dishes to try but my personal favourite would be the Recommended to visit if you are ever craving for some dim sum while in Vancouver!
First most satisfying dim sum I've had in a very long time! First time back to Canada since 86'. Service is fast and efficient. Order what you like!
