"We are a small Artisan Bakery located in Kalamazoo. Our bread and pastries are made using the highest quality ingredients we can source, King Arthur Flour, Joe’s Farm free range eggs, Grasslands and Plugra butter and local fruits and vegetables. It is incredibly important that we pay our production crew a living wage and with your support we are able to do this. Both owners are passionate about the business. JP Served for thirty one years in the military and Maria is keen on the research part of the business"

In the photo I have a chocolate crossiant, a raspberry danish, Japanese Cream Puff, two soft pretzels, an almond crossiant and a key lime tart. I also purchased a sourdough baguette. I would eat every single item again - but I would gladly accept a box, bag, handful, whatever means necessary of the Japanese Cream Puffs. Holy cow it was amazing. The baguette was served with butter for a spaghetti dinner and got rave reviews. The lamination on the crossiants was beyond impressive. The skills in this bakery are excellent.
Authentic European treats and breads, baked fresh daily. I highly recommend the Danish cherry pictured and specialty croissants apple custard, Mac n cheese pictured. As well as the seedy sourdough and French baguettes; as these are some of my personal favorites. Though I'm sure you'll enjoy everything you walkout with. Locally owned, veteran owned establishment that regularly supports many local charities as well.
I was in awe as soon as I walked inside. There were so many choices that all looked amazing! It was impossible to narrow it down so I will be returning regularly to try it all! What I did get was incredible! I was blown away by how wonderful it all tasted.
The best croissants and raspberry chocolate cake and everything else!
This this morning after I drop my husband off at work I was driving by The Victorian Bakery I always see it but I never stop in. However today I whimsically decided to go in and check it out. I was greeted by Maria one of the owners a lovely lady that told me about the different breads that she has that are vegan. Victorian Bakery is unique and the owners are extremely friendly. I love the little food pantry they have in front of their business along with the little library that Maria wanted to have for the community based on knowing that not all persons qualified to go to food banks when they're out of food. When you get a chance go to their website and check out their story it's a very neat story. I know I'll be returning.
Wonderfully delicious baked goods, ranging from breads to tasty pies. Some of my favorite things here are the chocolate chip cookies. They are so good.
Delicious, quality, unique baked goods abound in this 2nd location of The Victorian Bakery. We have several wonderful Dutch bakeries in Kalamazoo, that have been in Kalamazoo for decades, but this Irish baker’s talents are certainly welcome to the community. I urge you to stop in and try this bakery that began in the owners house. I should have taken notes so I could be specific, but everything I tried was delicious!Just please, stop by and try a baguette or anything that catches your eye.
Everything we bought was FANTASTIC…oatmeal bread, kalamata/Gruyère baguette, chocolate croissant, flaky “cream puff”…Glad we don’t live closer. We would develop a bakery eating disorder. Certainly will be back.
This is my favorite bakery in the world. Their breads and pastries are outstanding, authentic, and use quality ingredients. We have placed special orders for weddings, birthdays, etc. and the results are always beyond our expectations. My favorites are the oatmeal bread, peanut butter cookies, and biscuits :
Do yourself a favor and stop here. They have the most amazing treats and baked goods. Their breads are wonderful too. The people who work here are kind and helpful and they never rush you, which is great because it's so hard to decide what to get!
