Beautiful house, lovingly restored. Lots of interesting details both about the homeowners but also various occupations and professions that existed at the same time. Highly recommend going to the Glass museum next they sell combo tickets to both.
The museum features 28 rooms that are furnished with period antiques, including a library, a parlor, a dining room, and a ballroom. There is also a carriage house on the property that houses a collection of horse-drawn carriages.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
Beautiful old home in Millersburg, Ohio, there is a fee to tour the home and you take a self guided tour of the house. There are 3 floors that are furnished with pieces that have been donated to the home. The Historical Society has done an excellent job of restoring the woodwork, flooring and walls to near original condition. All of the furniture and decorations that are in the various rooms give you the feeling that a family is still living there today. The basement and other rooms have displays of tools, signage, collectables and that are typical to the time period. Well worth the time to visit.
Got the student price and it was well worth it. Gorgeous, sizable Victorian house/mansion. It wasn't as grandiose, ornate, or filled with expensive items as other Victorian museums/homes I've toured, but very respectable. It is a very large home with TONS of rooms.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$1–5
I visited the Glass museum for the 1st time in my life and the Fenton glass is beautiful! I enjoyed it thoroughly. After that, I visited the Victorian House for my 6th time to tour the property. It was relaxing as usual walking through those aged halls. It takes me back to how my life was the first time I visited, back in 2015. Excellent for nostalgia and a great time for lovers of history and those that appreciate how things used to be.
A wonderful mansion to tour! Gorgeous, woodworking , furniture, staircase’s, artwork every time I’ve toured this house I so admire the dedicated people that keep this magnificent house the wonderful historic attraction it is today! A huge Thank You!Visited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$11–15
The Victorian House is gorgeous and filled with curiosities from days long passed. The funeral door at the front clues you in to the uniqueness inside. Well worth it to see for $10. The extra $3 to see the Glass Museum two doors down. Highly recommend! Go see for yourself, support them and don't let the history in the house go the way of so many others and be lost. The photos are some of the things I found interesting, hopefully without giving away too much.
This is a must stop and see. We spent over 2 hours here and need 8 hours to see everything.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$11–15
