With efforts of the new generation of students, VSA was re-established in 2012, with the goals to connect and spread the Vietnamese Culture on campus.
Welcome to Vietnamese Student Association Facebook (VSA) page. VSA was first established at Penn State in 1982. Since then, many generations of Vietnamese students have walked to various classrooms, have sat on the lawn of Old Main, and have seen the beautiful sights that University Park has to offer.
Many years have passed, and current VSA was reestablished in 2012 with efforts of the new generation of students. Our number of members are increasing every year. Being reformed relatively recent, we are growing in size and are developing in quality. We embrace change and look forward to greet new opportunities.
Our organization follows the school spirit by participating in Homecoming and THON. We are expanding our network by involving and socializing with other organizations, such as KASA, Springfields, KSA, and APACaucus! We also keep in touch with our graduated alumnus whom were members and they serve as resources for current members. Aside from these, we also do frequent fundraising and participate in dance performances!
The goal of VSA is to present Vietnamese culture to Penn State community as well as to be a network where people with Vietnamese roots can get help and find friends.
We are the second home for Vietnamese students at Penn State.
WE ARE... PENN STATE
WE ARE... VSA
& WE LOVE... PHO
