This place is amazing. We came by today for lunch and our server was really sweet, my steak was so tender and flavorful. The owner came out, made sure we were taken care and had just the nicest personality. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Glad they’re downtown now. Great Job Vicky!

Excellent blue plate of a pork chop on a bed of red beans and rice. Slow lunch service, but I think they are still working out the kinks of a new restaurant. We're looking forward to going on a Fri or Sat night. Will definitely return.

I love cozy, warm, spots like this. The staff is super friendly. The food was so flavorful, it melts in your mouth. This is the only place I can come and get a Philly Cheesesteak and it was delicious. I will definitely be back.

The food is great... it's worth the wait... I wished that I had taken a picture... Anyway I had the seafood bag 1 Cluster-crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, hard boiled egg and my bf had hamburger steak with fries and salad.

Took the family to Vikki Laynes when they opened tonight. We were the second customers there, and three of the four of us ordered catfish filets. We waited over 30 minutes before they came out and told us they only had enough filets for one plate. The other two had to get whole fish. The crab the other person got was EXTREMELY small. Only had sweet tea, unsweet tea, or lemonade, and they were out of lemonade. Food was alright, but don’t understand why anyone would be out of one of their main entrees only 6 to choose from before they even open.

I had seen the raves on Facebook about this place. I had been anticipating going. We got there and it was a beautiful restaurant. I just knew this was going to be my new favorite. I ordered the seafood that I had seen online. " oh I'm so sorry. We only serve that on Friday and Saturday nights." .......ok....well.....I guess I will have the hamburger steak....and mac n cheese. Hubby gets fish and salad. People I tell you the salad was in a teacup and his fish was one little fillet cut into strips. Saaaaad. I got my "hamburger steak " It was an uneven over cooked hamburger patty. May have been slider sized. The mashed potatoes were watery and the gravy was from a package if not a can. The mac and cheese..... Oh boy..... It was awful..... Not homemade. Also in the teacup. This place has serving sizes like it was preparing kobe steak but it's honestly like a bad housewife threw it together real quick so she could get back to her soap operas. Honestly skip this disaster. After we ate here my hubby said sorry baby I gotta eat real food. We went to golden corral. It tasted better and we got full.

I'm so disappointed food had no seasoning. Service was slow. I won't return. Big dissapointment. Didn't even get salt and pepper to season that bland food. Sucks don't believe the hype.

I just wanna say thank you for that platter today. I love her hospitality, her warmth spirit, and most of all her humbleness. If you’ve never been I repeat you’ll always go back....

Waiting for at least 30m for someone to take order, no one came. Place was to uncomfortably warm had to just leave. Safe to say never going back
