My family and I have been coming here for years to get our hair done, from haircuts to blowouts, have even gotten my makeup done there before a party. Veronica is awesome, very kind and welcoming. She pretty much saw my sister and I grow up. She is also the one that did my sister’s & I hair for her wedding day. I had never gotten so much complements before coming here as I do now.

I have been coming to Carmen for my haircuts for two years; my mom recommended this place & stylist. She is great with my curly hair.

I do not suggest this place. I will never go there again. Prior to going to the hair salon I had ruined my hair by bleaching it from a very dark color and it went terribly wrong. I decided to go to this hair salon thinking that they would fix the mess I made and turn my hair into the color I originally wanted, which was a dark red. Once I got there I showed them a picture of what I wanted and I ended with brown areas, light red, dark pink, dark red, and other shades of red. I told 3 different people while my hair was being colored that it seemed too bright. They said it was fine and ignored me. Then I trying to trust them, since I thought they were professionals, I stood quiet and waited for the results. The results seemed okay at first, then I paid $110 dollars just to paint my hair red. I could of done that mess at home for just $8 dollars. Then I called 4 days later because my daughter got sick so I couldn't go anywhere, I was at home getting her back to health. When I called I told them it was a mess and that I wanted them to fix it. They said that because I bleached it, it was my fault that it ended up the way it was. But they knew I bleached it wrong and that it was a mess and yet they only put the red color on my hair knowing that I have different shades on my hair prior to going to the salon. So they did not bleach it they just colored it, washed it, and put it to dry. Then when I asked to get it fixed they said I could only go on Wednesday or Thursday. I couldn't go until Saturday but they said no because they were too busy on Saturday and could not fix it later than that because my roots would be growing by then and it would take more process to fix. I ended up not being able to fix my hair, and now I am 110 dollars short and a ruined hairdo. I hope you guys never go there for coloring. I am not sure if they are good for other things but for coloring is just not possible.

I used to love coming here to get my hair done. Now Every time I go, they make me wait and keep hopping me around from one girl to another to another- in one visit! To get your hair done here, you have to clear your whole day because you will be waiting a good 5 hours sometimes more to get out of here.

I don’t write reviews but I had to write one for this place. I came here yesterday because I really needed my hair to get done. I looked them up and they had a 4.6 rating so I decided to go here. I am now suffering from extreme neck pain to the point where I can barely move because the lady who did my hair pulled and pulled my hair so hard. Never in my life have I had such a bad experience. I do not suggest this place and I will never returning here again. And hopefully, my neck will begin to feel better but in the meantime, I am in excruciating pain.
