This was my first time here. It’s was very simple and easy from check in until departure. Entire staff is very friendly and courteous. Being sick is never fun and Dr. Mary Ann Go was very informative and explained everything perfectly. Will definitely come back…. Hope not too but will if I need to again.
This place is the definition of a medical scam facility! Do not leave them a credit card on file. They will charge everything to your card and make no effort to bill your insurance. If you read more reviews you will see this is a common theme with them. I had medical insurance and came in for a back issue. I would then be charged a very high amount on my credit card. I have conversations with them on the phone documented that I would not have my card charged and I would receive a bill in the mail if I were to be charged. After seeing the charge I called and they said they never got a response from my insurance company or could not reach them. My insurance is good insurance and I found they didn’t reach out to them. The facility is clean and the x-Ray tech was cool but the billing department is a utter scam. Unless you want to be dealing with incorrect charges, lack of competence when trying to bill your insurance, and lots of phone calls go somewhere else.
Very good clinic. I've been there a few times for various things over the years and they have never let me down. The place is super clean unlike other urgent cares I went to before that were definitely not meeting cleanliness standards. Why no 5 stars? They charged me an extra $50 for something that they definitely should not have on one of the visits but in light of the fact that I was in *bad* shape when I showed up there and they got the injury stabilized quickly, I didn't really push for getting that money back.
Clean, has labs, X-ray and even a medical spa.
They were holding on to my driver's license and refused to give back unless I pay $1200 for services I didn't receive. Consulted a friend who knows the law, this is actually a pretty serious offense. ------------------------------------------------ I went for laser hair removal for both legs, and was booking for next session for leg again and bikini area. They sell packages: six sessions for each area. That comes to a total of $1200 for both areas. When their manager, a young girl with glasses and black hair, was ringing me up. she keeps asking the same questions, forgot where my driver’s license and often just staring into blank air brushing her hair with her fingers and ignoring me. So I reminded that she needs to focus on what she’s doing. This is a medical facility that does cosmetic procedures and will be treating my face. Having a staff member who’s very absent-minded at work is a hazard to patients’ safety. She got really mad and defensive. Her attitude doesn’t matter but what matters to me are two things below: 1. Realizing VIP urgent care has a manager like this and she’s not likely to change, I don’t trust this facility anymore. Especially they will be performing cosmetic procedures on my face. I told them I will not be coming here in the future. Just ring me up for the Session I had today. 2. The manager refused to give my driver’s license back, said I must pay the full $1200 Because that’s just how it works. So she wants me to pay for 6 sessions, and this is for both areas. I haven’t even started on the bikini area. There are two other staff there, they are silent until I said I’ll call the police. An older lady immediately said, just ring her up for the session she had , and give back her driver’s license. Although, The manager was still yelling , “call the police, I don’t care ~~~” So I paid $160 for the session I had today. It seems to me their intention is to try if they can get $1200 out of me by holding onto my driver’s license. Maybe I’d be scared and agreed to pay. Anyway, if I were you, this Maybe still a good place to go if you have a stomachache or cold? But working on your face with lasers and injections, When their Manager can’t even remember where she put my driver’s license 2 mins ago … Probably not!
Went for a Covid test, paid my co pay. 1.5 years later they send me a bill for $400. I called my insurance company and they had no claims. I called VIP’s Billing number and spent 30 to 45 minutes with a call center who said they couldn’t find my information. They repeatedly put me on hold and finally hung up on me. I called back and made it about 15 minutes before they hung on me again. Now they have sent me to collections and I get a lot of harassing calls and mail. Do better!
Friendly and helpful staff and doctors. I was seen and treated quickly and informed every step of the way. I will definitely go back should I need an urgent care visit. Highly recommend.
This is the finest urgent care facility in California! I’ve been here a bunch! front of house staff, medical technicians and the doctors are nice, quick and good! Usually in and out and satisfied!
Very unprofessional front desk and rude. I asked them to check my insurance to make sure they work with. I gave them all the insurance information. They said maybe! I went there all the way, and they said no. They could just tell me this on the phone. It's not a big deal to figure it out which insurance covers over there. Also, the lady was very rude. She spoke rudly like I didn't give them all the information on the phone. I haven't seen something like this before. Sick people need to be treated better than this. I wasn't good enough to drive all the way and not get any service.
I was initially apprehensive when I arrived here. Something about handing over your credit card before a service always unnerves you. But they were the highest rated UC Center listed as in network with my insurance, so I did not feel I had a lot of other options. But the person up front was friendly and respectful. Not a ton of forms to fill out either. The person taking my vitals patient and efficient. And I’d barely sat down when they called my name to be seen. And the Doctor, Dr. Dr Srinivasa, was really great. She came to check me almost immediately. Compassionate, concerned, a real advocate for my well being. More so then my own PCP! It’s nice to know this place is here in a pinch, and the staff so concerned with providing proper care. They even asked me to call and follow up to let them know I’m doing ok. How caring is that?!
