Nice shaded park that usually isn't crowded. Clean bathroom too.
Nice little playground. It seems like it's meant to be walked to, not driven, as there is only one place to park with only 4 spots and they're a short walk through a wooded area to get from the parking to the actual park. But a very nice playground, once you get there. : Restrooms: One bathroom handicap/family restroom style in the building there and it was very clean!
Needed a place to take the kids to blow off a little steam. This is a great park offering swings, a picnic area, grill, and two large play sets. It's also completely shaded which made it all the better. Lastly, there is a basketball court. We were also the only ones there which made it even better! Would recommend to anyone.
This is a small neighborhood park that includes a basketball court, playground with climbing frame, swing set and a picnic area. The public restroom was surprisingly clean. The park is only 1.5 acres but it has a dedicated parking area on the street around the corner. Signs are posted that street parking on Windy Hill Road is not permitted. The park includes a marker "This park is dedicated to Coach Yow, who in 1950, formed a youth camp that gave the children of North Myrtle Beach organized activities when none had existed. His example, dedication and love taught our children the values and citizenship for which he is remembered. Dedicated August 1984. North Myrtle Beach Mayor and City Council." Playground: Small playground but it's in good condition. Restrooms: Public restrooms were unlocked today and surprisingly clean. Picnic area: Picnic table is nicely shaded and in good shape.
Hidden gem of a park. Clean restrooms, nice swings. Love swinging on the bench swing while the kids play.
I was pleasantly surprised with the new updates to the park. Very nice! My mom use to bring me here when I was little 30+ years ago.
Nice small park , parking in an odd spot but allows you to enjoy the oak tree:
Park is nice. Bathroom was immaculate. Parking isn't the most convenient.
A very nice, small and secluded neighborhood park. Parking lot is on side street. Nice tree canopy and good equipment. 2 tables for a picnic. Port a John and water fountain as well.
This is a great little park to go to with your 5 year old and younger, and maybe a little older. The equipment is newer and geared toward the little ones. The park is clean and well manicured. Places for adults to sit on the perimeter. There is a bathroom but I didn't use it to be able to tell about it. There were also a few charcoal grills that looked well maintained and clean. It's just a short walk from the beach and timeshares there. A great place to burn off young energy after long hours in a car.
