Our dedicated and experienced caregivers help seniors age in place by providing personalized home care services, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, help with running errands, companionship, and so much more. In addition, our Senior Life Care Navigation program offers specialized care options, such as Alzheimer's care, palliative care, fall prevention, end of life care, and more. We got in contact with Visiting Angels about 3 years ago for my father, who was still living independently in his house. However, he was getting so he needed some help. The Visiting Angel we ended up with, Janice, has quite simply become a cherished addition to our family. She is just the nicest person, and very knowledgeable about providing care. Eventually, Dad got so he needed round the clock assistance so we moved him to assisted living. However, we kept Janice on for him twice a week primarily as companion care. She takes him out for ice cream or a meal at his favorite restaurant, and he really looks forward to Janice's visits. Dad's quality of life would not be nearly as good were it not for the great, cheerful and compassionate care he receives from his Visiting Angel Janice!
A Visiting Angel has been assisting my wife and I for nearly four years and we could not be more pleased with her. Not only is she competent, punctual and conscientious in her work, she has become a friend, sharing family photos, wedding pictures and Facebook posts. We are equally appreciative of the Visiting Angels support staff. In a world where it often seems like customer service is nonexistent, the Angels care coordinators are consistently responsive, cheerful and helpful.
Visiting Angels was truly heaven sent. They were so thoughtful and helpful during a very stressful time. I am in awe of the kindness they showed my father. Thank you for being there and supporting us.

Our mom loves her Visiting Angels from the Eldersburg, MD office! Her Angels are reliable, dedicated and caring. They make sure Mom is cared for each time they visit and keep us her family updated on her needs and any changes they notice during their visit. Mom looks forward to their daily visits and has recuperated from a rather stressful set of health issues in the past year. There is NO doubt that her “Angels” consistent, wise, and compassionate care was a large part of her recovery. These “Angels” adapt to new request and make excellent suggestions to us, if needed, to ensure that our mom feels safe and secure in her apartment. They gently encourage her to interact with the residents in her retirement community and express their pride in her as she takes steps to integrate into her new home. The office staff in Eldersburg is efficient, responsive and communicates well. They make sure our mom’s schedule is covered and that her needs are met. The staff is friendly and caring each anytime we connect with than. We never worry that our mom is receiving quality, genuinely kind care. Visiting Angels provided great service to us after my wife's accident. They were available quickly after her return from the hospital, when I needed the assistance the most. The aides provided were experienced and did all that was expected of them in our time of need.
I’m thrilled with our service and the team going the extra mile to find someone for us on short notice. Our caregiver was perfect and my 90 yr old dad was happy. Huge thanks to Visiting Angels for the job well done!
V.A. is a nice company to work for. The hours are flexible, and the office staff is very nice to me with any concerns or issues that come up. I have been with them for 12 years now and have needed to change my availability many times throughout life changes. The variety of clients and hours is wide. My favorite is hearing old stories of when they were younger and them sharing pictures. It is satifying to lend a hand to help people in need. People sometimes ask me why do I like it. I simply say: 1 It is our duty to take care of our elderly parents, but mine passed away before I could help them, so I help others take care of thier parents.

This is the first time we've used visiting angels to assist us while we were traveling and Mom stayed home. The workers were friendly and congenial with Mom. The staff dealing with me were empathetic and understanding. Stephanie and I had a lot of discussion back and forth to determine Mom's needs, which was gratifying since I had less knowledge about this. When I had connectivity while on travel, I could check on the various visits that Mom had, which was great. I will say that one or two things I had asked were not done while we were gone, which will be something I look out for should we use their services again. If we do not, it is only because my loved one's condition makes it unlikely we would be gone for longer periods of time, not due to the quality of service we received.
