VolleyCamp Hermosa is a year round beach volleyball training camp. We organize short and long term training, room and board in Hermosa Beach, California.
VolleyCamp Hermosa is a concept that was built on years of experience from traveling, practicing and competing around the world. VCH aims to offer affordable elite beach volleyball training as well as housing options for all aspiring beach volleyball athletes who wish to train on the best beaches with the best competition in Southern California.
Thousands of players of make the pilgrimage to the ‘Volleyball Mecca’ every year and now we have made it so much easier. Our company brings housing, competition and high quality training together under one roof and with other like-minded, hard working athletes pursuing their dreams.
TRAINING OPTIONS
Private Lessons:
1 Player - $90,
2 Players - $150
3 Players - $180
4+ Players - $50 per person
1 Week Package:
5 Sessions with 2 to 8 players at a similar skill level - $250 per person.
Strength and Conditioning
Sessions:
Strength, Power and Agility sessions are also available at the rate of Private Lessons OR... Purchase the 1 Week Package and get the extra training options at just $30 per hour!
*Each Practice last 90 minutes. Players are expected to be warmed up and ready to play full at the start of practice.
When available, you will be able to stay in the VolleyCamp Hermosa private housing for $300 per week. We are a 10 minute walk and a 2 minute bike ride to the sand! This guarantees you one bed in the VolleyHouse for 7 nights. Our Team Room has 2 ‘Twin-over-Full’ bunk beds with special customizations for taller players!
There is also a master bedroom with a King Size Bed which costs $700 a week and common room options with air mattresses and pull out beds if you’d like to house a large group together.
These rates ONLY apply to athletes who are purchasing training packages as well.
If there are any players under the age of 18 in your group, an adult chaperone over the age of 30 MUST BOOK AND STAY in the
VolleyHouse.
Head Coach Mark Burik:
Burik has been coaching sports for 16 years and has over a decade of playing and coaching experience in volleyball. From 2005-2008 he competed with the George Mason University Men's Volleyball team garnering All East honors in his final year. After receiving his degree in Exercise Science Cum Laude, he continued his career playing professionally in Sweden, Norway and Croatia. Mark has also been the head coach for two different professional teams and served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for Vingakers Volleyboll Klubb.
During the warmer months, Burik has been a regular the AVP Tour and also competes in multiple international tournaments and tours. Recognized as one of the top players from the East Coast, he has numerous championships under has belt and has won the legendary Pottstown Rumble 3 times. Mark has always had a passion for beach volleyball, and decided to retire from indoor in 2014 to dedicate his time and efforts to beach volleyball full time.
Since his early days as a player, Burik has taken a special interest in coaching, consistently finding opportunities to increase his volleyball IQ and share it with other players and coaches. For the past 6 years he has been part of the Gold Medal Squared staff which uses the US Olympic teaching system to train players and other coaches. His position in the company has allowed him to travel the world working with hundreds of coaches and thousands of players.
Most recently Mark has joined up with BeachCamp Volleyball Destinations as Head Coach. There, he is in charge of recruiting the best coaches, designing training for the players, and providing guidance for his staff at various all inclusive resorts around the world.
