I would not recommend Von Tobel. I had a very rough experience when purchasing materials for our house. Our sales representative did not know residential code and sold us windows that failed inspection-non tempered glass where it should have been tempered and operable windows on the second story 18” from the ground. In addition, they changed the rough opening sizes of almost all our windows without telling us and I had to pay my carpenter 6k to reframe all the rough openings the day the windows arrived. The worst part was that this representative was dealing with some MAJOR personal issues and was rarely available to sort out all these critical errors. Instead of handing our account off to someone who was-it was constant radio silence. I would NOT recommend this company for major material purchases.
Big fan of shopping local. Walked in here after 0 F/U from local competitor trying to order laundry room cabinets. I got better service equal price point. Plus helped us locate a source for something they don't carry. Their hrs are daytime biz so keep that in mind.

no prices on items..takes forever for staff to check prices..then half the displayed items are not even available..we ended up going to bigger box stores for our materials..waste of time

Huge inconvenience was happy to see there was a hardware store on my way to the job site. They didn't have exactly what I needed but I thought given the convenience I'll make do with what they offer when I got to the checkout they did not have change for $100 bill I felt like I was at a gas station in the hood not a Dutch run hardware store
Ryan in the yard helped my husband load some stuff up and he was awesome and super helpful. Will definitely return because the customer service is great!
They carry items not available at the big box stores. Great prices too.
