W.N. Woodruff Store has been around forever it seems. The folks currently running the store (since June 1, 2009) were raised right here in Pleasant Shade. We know first-hand the value of this country convenience store to everyone who lives nearby and in the surrounding communities. Most who grew up here, but now live elsewhere, still stop in on their visits home. Those just passing through (yep, we can tell you ain't from 'round here) often stop on their return trip. Y'all come back now, ya hear?
