Park closed until Mar 1st. Cabin open til Jan 5th. Pet Friendly , low tech fun park.
There's great activities for EVERY age like gold panning, fossil mining, mini golf, gem mining, skeet & pistol ranges, plus target arcades for paintball that adults and children enjoy in a wholesome family atmosphere. You don't shoot each other, you shoot ghost town targets. The kids also like the bounce castle, the mini truck, and the free playground. There's NO ADMISSION FEE - you can do 1 activity or combine in a discounted package. Cabins, and tent camping are also on site. We're out in the country, but it's well worth the drive in the beautiful smoky mountains.

"The Lake Tours & adventure park are open by reservation only. We are no longer open to walk-in traffic at the park. Our park activities are available to cabin guests and party reservations. The Lake Tours are open by reservation except for Sundays. The cabins, RV sites and event venue are open all year with reservations.The services of WagonMaster Ranch all run on DIFFERENT schedules - so please make sure you are looking at the correct venue for hours.Cabin guests can reserve park activities any time. We offer old fashioned fun in a beautiful mountain setting for a day, a weekend or a vacation."

We have used WagonMaster for many events the latest was our wedding in October. It was the perfect venue/event center for all our needs. Debbie has some great things to offer here. Perfect for kids of all ages. Very pleased with the all around service here.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
We were on a family vacation at bear paw and came here 9 of us in all 3 kids 6 adults we did gem mining paint ball and putt putt and it was all wonderful the young man who is the owners grandson was so sweet and treated us like family he was great with our kids and just a terrific person ! The owner and the lady who work there also were great we were treated as if we were family and had known them forever they also treated our dog who is a bully bread like he was theirs we enjoyed the kittens and doggies they had also we stayed for awhile and felt like we were visiting and catching up with family ! If you r close by or even if not its well worth the trip we will return ! Thank you to the owner and the lady who works there and her grandson for such warm vibes !
Very kind staff & owner even went out of her way to make sure our little toddler found pink gems in the mine. Restrooms & grounds were spotless & prices well below anything else in the area $3/adults for golf and $8/GALLON of gem mine sand. They turn a shark tooth or arrowhead found into a necklace for free too! Perfect for simple family fun without tacky commercialism. Recommend!
What a great place for the entire family! We started off with our own picnic lunch in the sun and fresh air. Ms. Debbie and Ms. Jennifer were so friendly and informative. Our daughter road the cars, mined the gems, shot the paint ball guns and we were able to add more bullets and shoot another gun too. Ms. Jennifer spent lots of time with our daughter explaining many great facts about the gems and the mining process. They even have a blow up bouncy slide that made for even more fun with the other kids. The bathrooms were spotless!!! The general store was full of great gifts and jewelry and the store pup was friendly and super cute to pet. The prices were very reasonable and if we make it back to the area in the future we will happily stop in and do it all over again!! You will experience a great afternoon and leave filled with joy knowing you supported a family owned and operated business. You can tell Ms. Debbie works very hard and keeps an awesome business running smooth. Thank you for your hospitality while we were there!
This place is great! Kids had a blast on the gun range and the lady owner sorry I didn't get your name she was super nice and all about safety. Kids also did the gem mining, found some cool gems and arrow heads, paintball shooting was fun! And my younger son road the mini car on the track, he really enjoyed that. Best part was the bathrooms are super clean and had air conditioning! It was hot out that day! All the staff was super friendly and we would definitely recommend this place and come back!
Our extended stay at WagonMaster Ranch has been wonderful. SO HAPPY that we could stay here to enjoy what this area had to offer. Deb and Roger are two of the most hardworking people you will ever meet, the LOFT cabin we stayed in was tucked away up the hill among the trees. It had everything we needed and very well maintained. We will be back for more that's for sure!!
Had an awesome time with my 10 year old son playing mini golf, gem mining and shooting paintball guns at targets. It's good clean fun for the whole family that's nestled in the hills and trees of beautiful Western North Carolina. Locally owned and run. As a matter of fact, the owner was AMAZINGLY sweet and helpful. You get a great sense of family and community at Wagonmaster : We will be back!
Great experience - was the perfect activity for our 'what on earth do we do on our vacation today' day. The owners were friendly, and actively involved. My child's first BB/Paintball and gem mining experience. Think we spent $25 total. We would recommend to anyone. Be sure to check out Field of the Woods, and Hiwassee Dam while you are out there - both are on the way, and make the trip a great day-long adventure.
I’ve ordered bags of gems a few times now and they come on very quickly and well packaged. My kids and i enjoy the gemstones we find and we love ordering! Would definitely recommend.Service: 5/5
This was not a great experience. The gem mine lasted all of five seconds but oh boy we got a marble and some magnets out of it. The restroom is reflective of the quality of the establishment. Upon arrival you'll realize how the money was spent
