Wakarusa Dime Store

It used to have such a nice selection of candies and sodas. Now it's like a third of what there used to be. No fun sodas, no retro candies, no fudge... I am worried that it's on its last leg. The jelly bean room is gone

The ladies were amazing! I took my son and he doesn't like spiders! Not knowing that they had there Halloween decorations up already we were fine when we walked in until my son looked up and then freaked out!! The ladies that were there that day were very nice and trying to help to get him to calm down!! And I appreciate those 2 ladies!! It's a great little store I always enjoy it!!

Fun visit with tons of candies you’ve likely not seen in a while. Good selection of candies from abroad. Wonderful location and building simply enhances the contents. Cheerful staff make you happy you stopped in. Warning: you will leave with more than you planned.

Me and my fiance took my 3 kids here and they loved it! I feel like they have a good selection of candy and the staff were friendly. Between the 5 of us we tried a good variety of things and they were all very good. My only complaint is that it's very small so I can't imagine walking around in the place if there were several groups of people there.

A fun experience but sadly, they are out of some of our favorite old school candy bars more often than not.

I love this place. It's a second location for a candy specialty shop. The original place is an hour away and I've never been there. It's small but heavily-stocked with all types of candy. Taffy, chocolates, strange candies like wax lips and candy ciagarettes - all the way up to their signature Jumbo Jelly Beans. Google it. They are huge. Check em out.

I've loved their jellybeans since I was a little girl buying them at Shipshewana on the Road, so when I came to South Bend for vacation, I had to stop in! Great prices, great jellybeans, great people.

This historic building is chock full of every kind of candy you can imagine. They also offer a plethora of soda flavors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For sure you want to stop in here if you are in the South Bend/ Mishawaka area.

This store is great! Its nice to be the first to review because we talked to the owner Mac McNally and he works to bring in the best candies from different manufacturers around the world. I will update the review when I try more of the candies but there signature item is the Jumbo Jelly Bean! Try assorted fruit.

Kids loved the candy store. But could be better variety, a little bigger, and had too much stuff you can buy anywhere else for less. Cashier was very nice!
