Wake Med Health Obgyn

I went to this practice today and want other women to know how uniquely special I was cared for by Stephanie Gray-Midwife and her assistant. Both were nonjudgmental, very down to earth – easy to talk to professionals. I was treated with the upmost kindness and given lots of thorough care. They both took the time out to listen to my needs and I would recommend this practice to any woman who ever feels uncomfortable in any way at her OB/GYN. I found out today that is an unnecessary way to feel. Lastly, I would like to mention the front desk employee was kind to me as well, which is super rare these days for some reason. I give 5 stars.

This place is the absolute best. No one likes to have Pap smears or all the other things needed for woman tests but from the front desk staff to my nurse to my dr/midwife they did amazing. They had great senses of humor while also being empathetic and quite informative. They truly made something no one thinks is fun into a blast. I shockingly look forward to my next visit with these amazing ladies!!

I was hesitant about coming here for prenatal care because I prefer midwifery run practices, but I actually had a great experience with Stephanie Gray CNM. I enjoyed my visit & she was kind and personable. I didn’t feel rushed or not listened to. She was great with my exam and any questions or concerns I had. One thing I’d also like to note is that I really appreciated the positive affirmations in the exam room and in the hallway. They really gave me a sense of calm & peace since I am a survivor of SA & generally do not enjoy gynecological visits. The positive affirmations really bring something more to an otherwise sterile & boring clinical space.

I do not recommend this place at all. I wish I could give this place a zero. My wife has called and emailed numerous times about her results and nobody has had the decency to call her back to discuss her test results. This is by far the worst and I mean the worst experience for my wife. The lack of empathy and compassion is truly disturbing! Too be honest, I am flabbergasted that my wife emailed the doctor today and even called the office only to be told by the receptionist, "oh the doctor is sitting right here." Do you think the doctor picked up the phone, nope.. The receptionist said she will take a message, and have the doctor call back.. Still waiting for that phone call!!!! So women, if you're looking for expectational care, then I highly recommend you staying away from this office. Go to a medical practice where you're treated with the respect you deserve!

I was turned away from being seen for a visit for something urgent due to having a medical reason not to wear a mask. They completely refused to see me and I am already an established patient with them and came in the first time I was seen with no issues at all and never informed this would be a problem. So now I have something urgent I need to be seen for and im being turned away from my appointment and left on my own with no referral on where I can be seen.

Doctor Adam Kansagor is the best doctor I've ever had. He's super profession. Explains everything and encourages questions. Going to the doctors is never fun, but Doc. Kansagor eases the anxiety. Thank you for all you do!!!! And thank you for caring about my health and well being!!! PS: Like apples to poddles!! inside joke

You’ll notice there’s not many recent reviews. Are they being taken down? I shared my experience here a few months ago and now that review is gone. I will write it again. To recap- I have been a patient for 5 years and during that time recommended my amazing OBs to so many women on so many forums. However my last visit will be my last. I felt weirdly gaslighted and in the dark about an IUD choice I made. I started with copper and after nearly a year of heavy blood loss I went in to change to a hormonal IUD. However- for months after getting that IUD I was having panic attacks that have never affected me before. Finally I realized what it was and went back in to have it removed. I was told they no longer take my insurance- fine I just want this thing out. The nurse was a bit strange and seemed to be laughing at me a lot, saying things like wow back again? I explained my symptoms, looking for some reassurance or confirmation this could be from the IUD but got none. Instead the nurse laughed and said wow you’re crazy. A provider I really have enjoyed seeing in the past came in, removed it and left. When I left I just felt weird like what just happened, no warmth, no information, was made to feel crazy for trying two IUDs. Months later I have not had a single panic attack, so it was the IUD.

I don’t recommend to follow up with Dr: Jesica N Schloesser she’s careless and looks she doesn’t know what she is doing I went there twice and waisted my time without having any reason why my period is coming regularly she asked me to find Ultrasound clinic by myself she didn’t refer me to any one I need to do her part of job if you care about your health don’t follow up with her.

This was by far the best experience I’d had at an OBGYN appointment. All of the ladies were so welcoming, and made the environment instantly welcoming. Ms. Kimberlee was wonderful - she went the extra mile to make sure I was cared for + had all of my information entered correctly. She was a great communicator, and helped to ease my mind about the potentially uncomfortable appointment. I was seen by Ms. Stephanie - I can not speak highly enough of her! She validated my body concerns, and acknowledged my past bodily trauma in a very professional way. It was the first time I had been asked what my bodily boundaries were in an OBGYN setting, which I feel is tremendously important. She vocally walked me through the appointment, which I was very grateful for. I felt so taken care of, by all of the wonderful women in the office. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely amazing as well - it was such a healthy and impactful experience - for the first time in my life, I can’t wait to go back to the OBGYN

Dr. Evans is the best! After visiting multiple providers in the area looking for someone to listen, understand, and not rush an appointment, I found Dr. Evans! I could not have asked for anything more from my appointment. I was brought back fast, cared for, and out the door in 45 minutes : Best OBGYN appointment ever! Makes me comfortable going to the GYN now! Thank you Dr. Evans!
