Waldron’s Studio 88 is an up and coming music center located in the heart of Willimantic. Preliminary lessons begin in September with a Grand Opening scheduled for January 2015. We currently offer lessons in piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, trumpet, flute and drums as well as private composition and recording classes.
Lessons at Studio 88 cater to the needs of the student; our dedicated teachers create lesson plans based on each student’s aspirations and abilities. Music selections, occasionally composed specifically for the lesson, incorporate the fundamentals of music while moving at a pace best suited for the student.
Beginning in January, our fully functioning studio will offer a professional recording studio, photography studio, and an intimate setting stage. The stage, complete with lighting and recording capabilities, can be rented as needed for recitals and small performances. Also available for rent, a rehearsal space for bands furnished with a PA system and amps – just bring your instruments, plug in, and go!
Look for the release of our catalogue of classes this November! We offer classes for children, adults and seniors ranging from the ABCs of Music to History of Rock to Meditation through Music available at convenient times for students and families.
