went to get my prescription filled today, and waited 40 minutes in the drive thru, inside was just as busy. went to the window, and the gentleman that was there was very rude about my prescription not being ready, and wouldn’t be ready for another 3 hours. “we’re behind on prescriptions, no you can’t wait”. it was literally an eye drop. that takes 2 seconds to put a label on it. but okay. go to pick up my medication a few hours later, and wait another 45 minutes. this is absolutely ridiculous!
I used to love Walgreens in Seaford. I didn't mind the higher prices because to the convenience and the service. I got all my prescriptions and shots there for years. They used to be open 24 hours. The signs are still up, but that hasn't been the case for a long time. Store and pharmacy hours keep changing. The lines inside and outside on the times the drive through is actually open are unbelievable. I did move everything I could to another pharmacy. To be honest however, things have gotten much better in the last couple of months. I upped them a star and added a new photo.
And they don't even deserve 1. There are a couple nice people that work in the pharmacy, but overall it's a generally horrible experience.
Been waiting for prescription for 4 days still processing, last month the same prescription disappeared altogether. Called today to find out how much longer till they fill the prescription stayed on recorded phone message for almost 2 hours then the phone hung up on me so I would have to start over. Changing all my prescriptions to walmart
Higher more staff, don’t let people sit at drive thru window for so long should not have to spend 2 hours in line inside and outside….
Cashier short latin girl seemed little rude, maybe after long day she was not in a mood. Understandable, but customer wants your smile all the time.
Some of the staff is nice, so for the two nice ones that I've had interactions with, bless you for all that you do for the store. You make it worth coming back to. But... The primary purpose of a pharmacy is to be a pharmacy. While other products are there for our convenience, they can be easily obtained at other stores if needed. Prescriptions cannot. Many times the computer systems are down, which at the rate that the computers are down it's amazing that the store can remain open. But for a pharmacy to shut down unexpectedly and then cancel a prescription for no reason is more than inconvenient to some people. Some people need this medication to live. The corporate part of Walgreens doesn't seem to understand that you have to pay your employees properly, recognize good employees, and not work everybody at a skeleton crew so that they are not overworked. Staffing has been an issue and from numerous people the pharmacist may have quit, which puts everybody in a bind. Do better buy your employees and your customers Walgreens.
I was on hold for an hour and a half . Then the next day for an hour nobody answered. Came into store asked about my medicine and they didn't know why it wasn't ready...very disappointed hire new people asap!!!
This Walgreens has several signs that says 24 hours. It is closed with people still inside it.
Thank goodness they have a small paper sign on the pharmacy sign in the store to let everyone know that EVERY single piece of online info saying they're open till 10pm isn't true before they waste their time coming here. Whoever's in charge hurry up and change it because your employees say it isn't their job.
