Our local pharmacy J & L closed unexpectedly after 20 yrs that I’ve been doing business. I choose to switch to another local business. I knew they and other pharmacies in Georgetown would be over whelmed with business and ordering medications and so forth but now MONTHS later service is still unacceptable! I simply can’t imagine older folks that don’t have anyone to double check their meds! We will be moving to Walgreens I guess cause my skin crawls thinking of CVS… J and L really hurt alotta faithful folks!! UPDATE: Justin did speak to me today about my concerns which was great! As least he cared enough to ask. Todays service was awesome so we’re gonna give them another chance!
I’m not sure why, but anytime I try to refill on the app and I get there my prescriptions are never ready. And I have to wait.
I had a new prescription for three months for a double dose, and they would always say we never received it, so we would have to pay the other half. This place is a money robber. Two weeks ago, we switched to Walgreens, and we didn't even have to tell them what we needed . They gave us what we needed right away and didn't have to pay a penny.
My prescription wasn't ready when they said it would be. I was meet with the most apathetic, unempathetic response imaginable. No apology, nothing. My problem wasn't waiting it was that they set an expectation and didn't meet it. When I voiced my frustration I was met with nothing but silence. They did not care. I chose them because they are a local business and I generally find customer service and friendliness more abundant at a local business. I also feel supporting local businesses is important. This is one I will not support unless I absolutely have to in the future.
I don't know what has happened to this place. It use to be a really great pharmacy. But in the last month they have filled the wrong rx for me once, twice filled the wrong rx for daughter.
Justin and the team are fantastic! Very knowledgeable about their patient specific Ananda Professional CBD
Too expensive. Picked up antibiotics for $45 when everyone else charges $20 or less for the same medication. They don’t take coupon cards and are very rude. Use to like this pharmacy, now won’t be going back. Get more helpful and friendly workers.
I took one of my clients there to get her flu shot. The employees were not very nice to her but nice to others and she was given her shot in front of everyone that was there. I didn't think they were professional at all. She will not go back and I will never go there or recommend them to anyone
Georgetown pharmacy is the most greatest pharmacy I have ever been, The staff is so wonderful and kind they treat you with respect and help in any way they can
I was recommended by a friend of mine to try out Georgetown Pharmacy, she told me how fast the service was and how professional the staff was. I heard several people talk about this pharmacy, but always went to CVS. Let's just say.. FAST is an understatement when it comes to the service! I've never been in that store waiting on a prescription longer than 10 mins!! Super dependable and caring! Thanks guys! The only thing I wished for is for them to be open Sundays as well, but they are deserving of a day off! Since its the same team 6 days a week! 5 star plus!!
