Cora and her staff are the most loving and comforting people, Cora went beyond to console my family when my brother passed, then she handled my mother then father.A beautiful person with great staff.
My plan had been to prearrange our final resting place and other arrangements so our sons wouldn’t have to worry about it. Little did I know how quickly it would be needed! My husband passed within a few months!! Everything was in place! Everyone was so kind. Cora and her staff do a wonderful job. And what a relief to know when my day comes to meet the Lord, things here are in good hands.
Cora Walker Funeral Home was such a Blessing to my sister and I when our Father passed away. Cora and her staff handled our needs professionally, yet with compassion, patience and empathy. Their attention to detail was such a big help, and made a difficult time a little easier to deal with. We are so appreciative, would recommend Cora Walker to anyone, and everyone, to assist with their loved one's final arrangements.
Cora and her staff were such a blessing to our family during the death of our father, Robert K Foster Sr. They definitely made this difficult time easier for us. They treated us like family. We are very Thankful to all of you. We had the same experience when my mom passed away in 2009. We definitely recommend their services.
Cora and her staff were such a blessing to our family when my Mom passed. They were professional, yet kind, considerate, understanding and patient. I gave them a picture of Mom from their 50th Anniversary, they were able to color and do her hair so it was very similar, it made her look 10 years younger and more like how she was before she got sick, Mom would of loved it. They made sure that all the little details were taken care of. When I told them about my concern about the health of two family members that would be there, they told me about an alternative door for them to use, so it would be a shorter distance for them to walk, they even made sure that they would have the shortest distance to walk to the grave site. Our family will not hesitate to use them again. To Cora and all those who work at Walker Funeral Home, thank you so much for making a hard time easier.
Do NOT go to Walkers!! The picture you see with this review is my dad, he passed away November 22 2021. Walkers handled his cremation. It took THREE MONTHS for us to get him back home. If I could give a lesser rating then one? I'd give them a NEGATIVE five.
Cora and her staff treated me and my family with such love and made the difficult decisions we had to make just a little bit easier. I can't express enough what a wonderful job they did. Thank you so much for all the little details you took care of so that I didn't have to.

The staff at Walker funeral home were very kind, attentive and helpful. Cora was great. I would recommend them to anyone.
My mom and my brother's wife used this place when my brother passed different complications of muscular dystrophy. They paid a large sum up front and we're told that a payment system after would be fine. My mom recently got a bill for over $700 saying that if the amount is not paid Court actions will be taken against her. She has kept up-to-date with the payments but for some reason this place is demanding the payment in full now. The business ethics here are abhorrent. You shouldn't tell someone that a payment system would be fine and then demand the rest be paid upfront even when payments are being made on time. Good luck getting your large cash sum from a 70 year old woman on welfare and a mentally disabled 25 year old woman. Shame on you
