Expensive vending machine prices. This place has a very decent size truck parking area in a herringbone pattern; meaning you have to back into spaces. Lots of trucks in a small space. Amazingly, I saw several steering wheel warmer driver types probably wearing flip-flops tying to advance fwd between the backs of the truck only to back out when they discover that they can't do a pull through. This would be a good spot for a REAL trainer to bring a newbie driver who needs backing/parking practice.
We had to stop here because at he time we traveled, October 2023 it’s the only dump station in New England that is open, along with being the only rest area with a dump station for RV’s. We had a pretty full black tank from 2 weeks of dry camping in Maine, and I had to dump the tanks. We pulled in and it was easy to find the dump station. The dump receptacle was very huge, but the lid held my hose in place. The fresh water was not working. I was able to empty my tank and he on my way.
Nice rest area. The drink vending machines had good options in my opinion. Particularly the Starbucks Frappuccinos. I didn't really look at the snack ones but I'm assuming they did as well. The women's restroom was clean. There was grass to take your pet to the restroom as well. And picnic tables to sit at. One of the attendants was very friendly and asked about my dog.
Nice safe place for a pit stop. Attendant on duty there. Restrooms and vending machines.
Would be better if dump station water was on. It has been turned off since May '23
Nice RV pump out w fresh water access. Vear right thru cars/trailer entrance. Take right to parking area. Hook up beside large rock.
The building closes at 3:30 pm and reopens at 8:30 am. This is the porta potties that you have to deal with between those times. Note that the schedule on the wall says they were cleaned yesterday by A Royal Flush. I think tax payer money is wasted with this company! Photos are of two different potties
Nice environment here and restroom is Pretty clean. Lots of space for big trucks and buses.
Good and clean place to rest during your trip
