It wasn’t bad they got me In on appointment time but the fact I don’t like they make you wait at least 2plus hours of waiting till you get your bill. They should have more staff to get things work quickly
Pretty standard, you can arrive 1 hour prior to your appt. I had someone still in my assigned dock, but went into the CRO & let them know & turned in my paperwork so I wouldn't be late. 3 hrs gate to gate, not bad. Everyone is very friendly.
This walmart is on my no go to location list! They are not flexible. I went there with load that I picked up late to start with. Then I arrived few hours late, they rejected the load and demand new appointment. It took me 3 days siting there to get another appointment. Me and my dispatcher called them numerous times but nothing pleased them to unload me in timely manner.
Had a load coming here, appt was supposed to be for 5:30pm. Upon arrival, come to find out the broker never set the appt. We made contact with Donna Foor in the CSO office at Wal-Mart. She was understanding of the situation and was able to get us in to deliver this load. Very thankful for her kindness and willingness to go above and beyond for us. Thank you Donna and the dock manager for pulling this off for us.
Not to bad. In and out within 2 hours of appointment. If you arrive more than 1 hr late you will have to reschedule your appointment.
Make sure you call to confirm your appointment time before you roll. Walmart changed my appointment time and didn't tell the broker. The broker didn't tell my DM who then didn't tell me. If no one tells me, then I'm going to show up at what I think is my appointment time. Walmart knows there is no place for us to go once in Bedford. There is a McDonald's, but your technically only supposed to be parked there 20 minutes.
It’s going to take you between 2-3 hours in and out, make sure you show up on the appointment time ! No overnight parking and the closest truck stop is 45 miles , make sure you disconnect your truck and take your paperwork to door 324 after the security guard check you in
No parking near area there is a McDonald's near sheets with truck parking I would advise drives to park there only 2 miles away if you have to wait over night
Got there at 5.30 pm for a 6.30 appointment. After backing up at the dock and checking in at the office I was told that because of one pallet of fresh strawberries I would have to come back at 12 am because they don't have any QC people to check them. They messed up my schedule and of course broker doesn't wanna pay detention.
Only 1 stall and 1 shower in the women's bathroom..I've had to lock the door just so I'm not getting walked in on or having the angle of the mirror show people sitting outside the bathroom flash people while I'm getting dressed. The only person who is decently nice is the one lady we run into from time to time who's usually at the front desk. I've had other women roll their eyes and give dirty looks as well as the men who just gock at you. Oh and if you aren't specifically on the Walmart account, you can forget about getting a code for the gate or getting let in without having to call the front desk and ask for someone to let you in, which is waiting until they have to walk all the way from inside the building and passed the trucks parked. Walmart you should atleast give people the code or some badge to get in no matter what, we've stood outside in the pouring rain waiting for someone to walk all the way out just to push the button to open the gate. I absolutely hate when we have to come here cause I've had to rush so much to get a shower, to use the 1 and only bathroom, deal with unprofessional staff, trashed filled day cabs, inconsiderate yard dogs that take off and have Absolutely no consideration for other trucks coming in and out..etc
