This review is based on the online black Friday shopping. Purchased 2 items. Both items were supposed to be ready for pick up the next day. Got notice that one item was delayed till the next day. Went to go pick up and downloaded the app so I could check in. After checking in on my way there I parked in the stall and received a call from the guy who was handing the pick ups. There were 5 cars waiting on merchandise and we didn't see anyone come out for 30 minutes. Then another 30 minutes goes by and he comes out again and tells the lady next to us that half of her items are missing. Still no update on my items. I've now been sitting in my car for an hour and a half! Whatever system they have in place for pick up needs to be completely redevelopment. No one should be sitting in their car for this long and I'm still waiting! Their notification to you says "ready for pick up" when obviously nothing is ready. They have to search the whole store for your items. Update. After 2 and half hours I finally received my items. I was sent downstairs to where they distribute the online sales rather than the attendant bringing me my item. Other people who were at curbside pick also had to walk into the store to get their items. I will add that Patrick was helping us inside the store to locate our purchases. He did his best to expedite in the disaster that is happening inside that store. Thanks Patrick!
Went to Walmart to buy milk and cereal and came out to a car that wouldn’t start for two reasons. As we went back in I asked their security guard a question about batteries for the. FOB on the car we drove there. Jesse told us where to find them how to to replace them and quickly troubleshot the problem with another kind man in area.. I cannot thank Jesse enough I had my two grandchildren with me and they were scared about being stranded as we don’t live here… Thank you Jessie for above and beyond service to a customer… Great worker you have there at that Walmart
InTheCut @ Department Stores: This store definitely straddles the line between useful and helpless. As far as customer service goes the staff is friendly but guarded. Your allowed to carry backpacks and luggage thru the store, which is both a blessing and a curse. There's bathrooms, water fountains, and most locations have outlets in the bathrooms for charging. And also depending on locations you can always charge your phone or access the internet in the electronics dep, be discreet. Returns and exchanges are a nightmare. This particular Walmart won't accept returns or exchanges with homeless without a receipt. It's very affordable with many, many options in nutritious food and drinks that don't require refrigeration or cooking. Many everyday items are sold in travel size quantities. Bottom line, anything that might be useful on the street, they are sure to have and prices range from super cheap to moderate cheap. Both staff and customers keep sneers and contempt to a minimum. 3 * Homeless Reviews
I mean it's a Walmart so if you've been to one you've pretty much seen it all. This one was relatively clean and brightly lit which isn't always the case. There's nothing else than a dimly lit and grungy Walmart where you feel like you might get tetanus on your way to pick up milk.
It's situated like all Walmart's and they've got some really amazing employees. The new regulations are a lot to get accustomed. If you want to do your shopping in peace, go really early in the morning, otherwise it's always busy. Tax is cheaper in El Cajon, than in the surrounding cities, and that's a plus.
one of S.V, in customer service their his name is Zaid was very rude with me , and he didn't provide good customer services to me and he didn't accept to do matching price to the Item I bought from different Walmart store , they suppose to teach him how can deal with customers and another rude person their her Name is Rita ,
Best experience ever Victoria is the absolute best person we could have had to help with our experience. She made it a painless process. She explained everything very clearly. She was up front about the price. There were no surprises. I haven't experienced this level of excellent Customer Service in a very long time. I would recommend anyone in the market for Eye glasses to come to this location. You would not regret it.
Always a fun time going to shop at Walmart, some great deals. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.
we buy alot alooot of pokemon things from walmart..but its hard to find them now at all walmarts..soo go to gamestop you may find some...
This location has declined drastically over time. You would think this Walmart would be one of the better Walmarts to shop at seeing as how it is located within the mall but it is not. From their merchandise or rather lack of merchandise to their customer service, this place sucks! Definitely not my preferred location to shop at.
