Truck parking is very limited at the store. It's much better to park in the old Comanche Springs truck stop parking area across the street and walk over to shop. The lot is rough so don't get in a hurry. Take US-285 exit and enter past the Chevron. 2023-09-09
This is the safest Walmart we've ever overnighted. We pulled in right at closing time Christmas Eve. We walked up to the store where a security guard and local policeman told us the store was closed. No worries, we just wanted to park overnight and we were cheerfully told " no problem". The security and police were present all night in a very well lit parking lot.
Very small and oftentimes crowded and disorganized. It's fine if you need to run in and find something real quick, but not always great for an entire grocery shopping trip
Great place for everyone owners great place to pick up groceries. Also very convenient fir rv parking.
One weird thing, probably only I would notice, is that all of the employees, not some of them, ALL of them turned their name-tags over so that the customers couldn't see their name to say 'Thank you, Theresa!" Or "Thanks, Sam!" To most older people, that's an important customer service issue, especially corporations are pushing more and more to impersonal checkout procedures. I suspect it's because employees, especially the younger crowd, that are familiar with "quiet-quitting" do that to avoid being reported to management. Fix that please walmart! Show the name tagsa It was nice and clean and seemed to be stocked.
They had everything I needed at Walmart gas station. I got windshield washer fluid, coolant, ice, lottery tickets and sweet tea!
On trip to TX we wound up 2x at this Walmart. The first time, out of necessity, the 2nd time because the store, staff and customers were great the first time... and the second. Odd as it sounds, this place enhanced the enjoyment of our trip. Nice community and folks. Be proud. You got something unique.
Produce section had very well displayed fresh cut fruit as well as nice bins of individual fruits, well organized and very clean, nice large bakery area, again well displayed and very clean with huge selection. Alot of organic produce and organic refrigerated products. Very impressed with overall displays and cleanliness, workers were cheerful, helpful and enthusiastic, wish my town's Walmart was like this.
This place is gross. The produce is usually spoiled. I grabbed a grapefruit and it was totally mushy, through and through! The bottom of the bin was white with mold. There have been rat teeth marks on bell peppers and jalapeños or holes where some animal has gnawed through. Slimey onions? How bad is your produce storage and inventory that your onions have gone bad? Baskets with strawberries gone bad 3 weeks ago. You have to take your time and check best buy dates on your products because they are often past that on the shelf. They put out spoiled fish and shellfish! They slap discount stickers on the beef to move it "before" the expiration date, but there is no way it's before, the meat has a rainbow sheen, or is grey green. Not freezer burn but grey! Prices on the shelf do not match price at checkout. The health inspector would have a field day at this store. Buyer beware.
This particular Walmart had good cells but does not cater in any way in outer where for pregnant women In other words no short shirt pants spandex nothing like that at all
