walmart is my favorite grocery store but there is usually only 2 checkout lines available and you know how they are with self checkout, took us 20 minutes to get out of the store, and we missed our train. great store but there needs to be more manned check outs
Of course I love Walmart's prices. This store is easy to access, being right off of Interstate 80. That also makes it a popular store that is usually heavily populated. There is a big parking lot that is usually crowded. The parking lot is normally littered with trash, but thankfully, employees keep the inside of the store clean. The restrooms are usually pretty clean as well. Employees regularly check on them. I usually find everything on my list here. Even the odd items like crafting wire and toilet seats. I also appreciate that there are other popular, useful stores nearby. It helps to have everything in one central, convenient location. Including the Quick Quack car wash and restaurants I love, such as In-N-Out and Del Taco. I could easily spend a few hours in Walmart. Not just buying items on my list, but also perusing the isles, checking out new items and good deals. I will normally use the Self Check-out. The last time I visited this store, there was a throne up front, by the Self Check-out. I couldn't resist a photo opportunity! My roommate and I took turns taking pictures. I believe it is part of a promotion for the Charley's Cheesesteak Foundation, as there is a Charley's Cheesesteak restaurant inside of this particular Walmart.
It was everything I could want and more. I don't expect a lot in life so 3 stars seems fair. I'm definitely shopping here again.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come to grab formula it's a long wait for someone to come and unlock it. I'm talking 10-15 minutes. and it happens EVERY single time!!! No matter if I come early in the day, afternoon, or late at night. It frustrating when your standing there pressing the button for the 3rd time and 4 workers walk by ignoring you instead of trying to help. Another frustrating day. Had to stop to grab water and sanitizer. Accidently double scanned an item through self checkout. Waited "for assistance" no one was there, like always. So I just moved over to another self checkout and started all over. As I finish up, and turn my cart slightly. The worker leans over and quickly tries to press the 5 star review button on my screen. They won't work for the stars but will try and get the reviews high? The smell around the chicken meat is foul. The shelves havent been cleaned in months. Look at my pictures. Health inspectors need to be called.
Some of the laziest people that "work" at this location that don't care about their customers! They close the customer service at 7pm when the store is open until 11pm. The pleasant grove Walmart Customer service was open and friendly and I was able to make my returns. I will not go back to the Rocklin location.
Typical Walmart. So much so that leaving a review feels like a waste. There were people fighting in the parking lot and when we told the door greeter, he said "Yeah, that happens a lot." Then went back to hassling innocent customers for their receipts. When we left, he took my receipt, scanned it and then marked it and handed it back. So I said "What was on there?" He said "Huh?" I said "the receipt you took and scanned to make sure I paid for everything. What did it have on it?!" He replied under his breath "I don't know." Clearly just going through the motions...
It is always nice to walk into a Walmart store where the floor plan is set up in a familiar way. This makes quick trips so much easier no matter where you go, even if it is in a different state.
Hi there to the folks around the Walmart on crossings Dr. After about 1.5 hours of filling a cart with about $300 10:20 store closes at 11. I was informed that "the guy that does that is normally gone by this time". Well my ?? was is a checker poss on break. Not sure if we will eventually not have checkers at stores but it seems to be bad business practices to not have a $20 dollar an hour employee when by the way there was about 30employees standing around to the point they were in theway of shopping run the cart through a full sized isle. My cart was valued at about 15 man hours, SMART MOVE WALMART MANAGEMENT. Checking more than 20 items at a self checkout is a nightmare, so I let the door guy that since there was cold stuff in the cart someone should go through the and put all perishable items back because I refuse to check myself out with a full cart. He start an argument and was personally offended that I would walk away from the effort. So it won't matter if you're healthy or restricted or handicapped this facility refuses to keep a checker on staff till closing.
Left doors were blocked off before 8, garden center was closed can't even get in from the inside and the dressing rooms the lady wouldn't let me in. More employees than any Walmart I've been doing just walking around without a clue. Stores wonder why Amazon is putting them out of business
If you go early in the morning it’s easy shopping. I dropped it a star almost two stars because checkout is never a pleasant experience. Usually only one checker and self checkout isn’t easy with a full cart.
