Had to give a star but would have been a zero if possible. Had a bad experience in self checkout. Too many groceries for self checkout on a day like today. Frustrated and missed the fine print telling me "no cash at this new checkout stand" before scanning after shopping for over an hour with my elderly father who has dementia. I care for him, and my daughter is fighting for her life. A Bad day already, trying to stick to a tight budget requires I use cash. Employee offered little help and copped an attitude. I was overwhelmed and didn't answer her quick enough with her less than exciting offer for me to go to a different register after all that and the short way she offered. Basically her "times up" attitude flustered me. Did I have my atm to even do that? Did I have more cash to give another checker? Times up! I calculated as quick as possible, Ok, got it! "Nope, too late" She's done with me. Frustrated at the new policy and tiny announcement of new policy? Yes. Frustrated she's not understanding my situation? Yes. Did I call names? No. Did I SHOUT? No. Raised voice, perhaps, yeah, not shouting, not degrading. Explaining my frustration, needing better service that she could offer at that moment, yes. She is having a bad day too, I'm sure. Spend my and my husbands hard heard money there today? Not on your life. Lick her boots and cow tow at her rude bidding when she could have done more to help or waiting for 5 whole seconds for me to figure out what I needed to do with $100 worth of groceries and an old man behind  me? No way, never ever again. I've been a customer service manager, I've worked retail and never in a hundred years treated anyone like she treated me even when I was being cussed out. Too bad. I used to spend hundreds a month here. No more.

Springfield walmart will have what I need, but when they don't I can always ask an employee for help. Employee's are always happy to help, and friendly whenever I need assistance. If you ever have the off chance of not finding the product your looking for you can always find it online and have it delivered to your store of choice.

I will never shop at Walmart again... I ordered items online for express delivery. I received half not even half of my order then was told the other items will not be deliver until 10pm the next night. Why did I pay 20.00 extra for express delivery for only  less then half to be delivery.

2 identical  toys were ordered for Christmas delivery with payment for delivery to the address in Springfield. One employee was unable to located the items, but later located the items. The delivery order was cancelled.  The failure was totally the fault of this Walmart's inability to function...both in picking an order and in canceling the delivery.

This was my second trip at this specific location to try and get my oil changed. Although there were no cars in the bays I could see, I was told there would be a 1.5 hour wait for a 15 minute oil change. I was there at 7 am and clearly there must have been other cars in wait somewhere else. The auto clerk advised me to arrive about 6 to 6 :30 to be seen in a timely fashion. I realize we are all short of employees, but I think in this instance that Walmart quickly realized that they don’t necessarily need 2 or 3 technicians. What a shame. Update!  I went back the following morning and parked at the appropriate spot at 6 am for a 7 am opening. I was told there was 1 person ahead of me that had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation. However the person decided not to get tires rotated, so all they needed was an oil change. So in essence, Walmart broke their own “rules” regarding not allowing anyone to make an appointment for an oil change. This absolutely will be the last time I darken their doors.  I

Love this Walmart. I live in Madison and I go here to the Springfield Walmart for 2 Main reasons, important to me 1. Cleanliness and nicely stocked. 2.Amazing customer service beyond amazing.

Had a good shopping experience.

It's wal mart- pretty much a do it yourself shopping experience. Not too many employees look up when you walk by, but the ones who do go way above and beyond to help you.

Please open the store to be 24 hours again, some people work overnight like me and don’t have time to go before or after work. I’m not sure why it has come to not being 24 hour’s available it’s is mainly self check out now for this store.
