I have always loved to bake sweets and finish them with a touch of art. That has always been my specialty, to initiate a WOW factor in each bite; I've always been so fascinated of how much you can do with so many ingredients. So I can say I feel like a mad scientist, but of course, the kitchen is my lab and fruits and vegetables are my chemicals.
Motivated by family I obtain a degree as a Pastry Chef from The Lincoln Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. While attending school I got the opportunity to experiment with some of the most delicious, unique, and exotic fruits and vegetables. After I graduated I work at many great places as a pastry chef, but I felt that I was not fulfilling my calling.
So I begin to bake for some of my closest friends and family members during birthdays and other special occasions and all of the sudden I started having orders and people where paying me, even though I was not charging them. So that spark my interest in creating a small business, and Wanda’s Famous Cupcakes came to life.
