Description

Please take note: Warks Point Wilderness Getaway does not offer electricity.. We do offer tenting, weekend camping, seasonal and annual lot leases.

We offer off the grid camp sites in a 38 lot campground. Our leases include monthly, seasonal and annual. Included in each lease is the use of a sewage dumping station, water line hookups, bathrooms, 260 foot treed waterfront with fire pit and a canoe and kayak rack. Our park is pet friendly and it's all inside a gated community.
We also host music festivals, weddings, family reunions, and other group celebrations and milestones.

Our camping area is split into two separate sections. The campground, which is quiet, and an event area far enough away so our campers can enjoy themselves without bothering their neighbors.

Directions: Drive north on Route 616 (Keswick Ridge Road) until you get to 1155. About 100 feet beyond that turn left onto a gravel road then take the first left and drive to the gate. Your Here!!

Great looking place loving owner. it has no electricity on the site so have to provide your own if you are able to by generator or solar power. water is pumped up from a spring. And very small shower and toilet with dump station for your waste water. Rubish to be take home with you it is 5km from the main road In the woods just off the st john river this campsite would be the idea get away from it all spot. gated so secure aswell as quite with the trees your camping area is not over look by other campers like a lot of sites. You can have a spot for just a weekend week or full the hole season
I was looking for a camping place that is quiet and clean. This was the perfect spot.. So secluded and stress free. Basically off the grid and thought there was no way I was going to have service on my phone but I did. Will definitely consider this spot again in the future and recommend it as well
If you were looking for something off the Beaten Track this is definitely the place to go! The scenery going in and coming out is amazing and definitely not something you would see taking the major highways! The lake is beautiful and swimming is great. The Proprietors are very helpful and friendly. Be prepared for off-road and off grid travel and experience! The peace and Tranquility here is amazing!
This is an awesome campground. Came here for the Future Forest festival and it's a beauty of a spot. The river is lovely to swim in and there's lots of places to explore. Could've just been that it was my first time going to Future Forest and the first time here as well. But overall the experience was stellar.
Willie the owner is a really great guy. Super welcoming. The campsites are clean and large. Ours even had a stage. This location is a little bit off the beaten path, so be prepared for a 10 minute drive down a rocky road. As long as you are prepared for back road camping, this is a great campsite. It really is a wilderness getaway.
Wonderful private campground. Had a beautiful night here right on the river. The price was unbeatable. Could hear loons all night long. Will definitely return
Really far off the road on a beat up dirt road. I wouldn't recommend taking a nice vehicle anywhere near it. Also was very leery of leaving any possessions out in the open. Price is super cheap. Tbh we paid and just left. It was bad enough we didnt care about losing our money.
Love it hear. Had amazing time last year. And this year we are happy to be helping Willie and Rose out around this beautiful camp ground. Beautiful peaceful place. Love it
We were here last summer paid at the gate which was a little weird just to look around for a site. Sites were not well maintained no picnic tables n "beach" area was not a beach. When we decided were we not staying they only refunded some of the money bc they had to open the gate and show us around. Pretty spot but very poorly run.....dont waste ur time!
