Most of the nurses and CNA's are horrible and very rude. They don't do anything, my sister and I clean my mother up ourselves. They ignore the patients request for something simple like a glass of water. Most of the nurses are unprofessional and talk too much and too loud in the hallways and corridors. If you don't want to help people don't work at a nursing home. They also overcrowd the rooms with too many patients. When my mom was there she was in a very small room with two other people. Do not go to this facility if you care for your loved one.
Uses agency nurses and agency cna's, therefore, nobody is worried about losing their jobs for poor or bad patient care. They can just move on to next job through thier agency. Very few if any staff on floors are direct employees of Warren Barr Nursing Home Lincoln Park. CNA's think more of thier cell phones than they do the patients. CNA's and nurses treat patients like second class citizens and patient care is substandard. Food is totally unacceptable and always served cold. What you see on the menu and what you are actually served, two different things.
Warren Barr Lincoln Park was a nice nursing facility. The therapy team wasexcellent!. Most of the staff was great too. My bad experience came at the hands of some not all but some of the CNA's. There were Three whenever they were on my floor always had a nasty attitude and didn't want to do there job. Other than that it was a nice stay.
Thank you to the dedicated staff at Warren Barr who are busy every day keeping their patients comfortable and cared for. My elderly cousin made great progress while staying there until we were able to move her closer to family. Thank you Warren Barr!
This used to be a great facility but it is not the place it once was. Whether due to lack of staffing, lack of empathy, or a combination of the two, staff are not helpful and you can often here the buzz of patients requesting assistance go unanswered for long periods of time. Patients do not receive any care at night and are left in their own urine and feces. The facility itself appears old and in need of renovations. Per my loved one who is staying there, the food is also terrible. The reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because my family member says the actual rehab staff are nice and kind and do a good job, but the remainder of her experience has been terrible.
I served as the guardian of a gentleman who lived at Warren Barr LP for a little over a year. The staff members truly cared about him and always did their best to brighten his day. In particular, his social worker, Gabriella, always responded to concerns promptly and was a great advocate for him. While some of the rooms are a bit tight, the staff itself makes up for the aesthetics.
I would rate 0 stars. Unfortunately this is not the proper place for loved ones. If you care for them at all you will steer clear of this center. Don’t be fooled by the pictures and neighborhood because you’ll be very disappointed. This center needs to invest some money into this place for better equipment and maintenance. It’s lack thereof shows there is no true interest in quality of life and dignity of the patient. Rooms/interior: poor Food: poor Beds: poor Bathrooms: poor To say my loved one looked very sad upon arrival. It’s almost like they knew they would have a hard time thriving here.
Warren barr need to clean house and start over with more professional and skilled people who know what they're doing. Give credit to some nurses who cared but most weren't doing their jobs and I fault management for that! The phone system never worked properly. Floors and room weren't being cleaned like they should unless you visited your loved one food was disgusting hardly gave him his meds.!! My loved one is now deceased due to the lack of care and they were only there for rehab!! What kind of mess is that!! Don't be fooled by the pictures. No rehab but collected money! Please don't send loved ones here!!! Or any Warren barr facility!!
Our mom has been at Warren Barr at Lincoln Park for 11 years ,and the staff are all like family.It’s smaller than most ,which is a wonderful thing,because you get to know everyone. The staff are professional and personable,if you have a problem with anything,they are there to assist in a timely manner. I also have a brother that resides there too.It appears that an acquaintance of his wrote a negative review.Please disregard it! I would highly recommend Warren Barr at Lincoln Park!!
I want to write this review to give your facility the recognition it duly deserves. Your staff made my mothers stay so easy for her. Theresa your Activity Director came into her room everyday to check on her. She always put a smile on her face, so much that she always looked forward to seeing her! I thank her from the bottom of my heart for making her days just a little easier! Also I would like to thank Reggie for keeping your facility so clean! You always hear horror stories about cleanliness of rehab centers, but not at your facility, it really is spotless!! To all your nurses, they all were great with my mom. They took time out to explain things with her and that mattered to her. I would recommend your facility to anyone that is looking for a rehab center.
