The grand reopening was exciting! Clean, bright, and updated with lots of new services. The new addition includes dedicated spaces for children and teens, as well as study and meeting rooms. There's also a new room for free computer and technology classes. I love the windows, skylights, bright colors, and excitement going on over there. It's a vibrant place, now.
the library itself is great along with the staff, but the security officer is out of line. he kept calling my husband “ma’am” even though he has plenty of facial hair to prove his gender, im assuming that because we’re a gay couple and my husband has long hair he decided it would be okay to demean him by calling him a girl. however, that wasn’t even the main issue. it’s near impossible to step a single foot anywhere on library property—including outside, without being harassed by this man for no good reason. we had to step outside to take a phone call and he started YELLING about which side of the outside door we’re supposed to stand on. there is no sign outdoors indicating that standing on a certain side of the door isn’t allowed, so at this point it’s very clear he just needed a reason to harass us. he also yelled at me before about having my feet on the floor and off furniture, when in reality my left leg was propped up on my right leg and wasn’t touching any furniture. i suppose we all have to sit how he decides unless you want to get yelled at. he also walks around slamming doors for the library’s back room while simultaneously telling quiet visitors to “quiet down” while making little to no noise. please get a better security officer, i’ll be returning my book today and won’t be coming back to this horrid place.
I love going to the library with my friends except we get harassed by the security guard he just picks us like prey and targets us. We will be walking around and get yelled at and threatened to kick us out. We also went to get water and was harassed by the security guard this library needs new security guards he is so disrespectful for no reason feels like I’m being targeted rather go a different library
Recently expanded and upgraded. Very nice inside. Open areas with great lighting. Plenty of room to browse for books on the shelves. Really did a nice job of renovating. Staff always friendly and willing to help. I always vote for library levy. Glad to see the money spent well.
Absolutely the best! The folks there from getting my new library card to Susan in the computer lab were superior. I'm so proud of our library and the splendid people that work there. Know you are truly appreciated.
the security guard is so rude. contemplating switching libraries because of him there's no reason to be so aggressive towards people just reading.
Wow! This is a jewel of a library! Warren is fortunate to have such a community-forward library. So enjoyed my visit today.
They recently did a large renovation / remodel / addition. The adult computer lab is now upstairs in its own room with printing capabilities. Very nice and quiet I love the new stained glass art. Mr. Packard's donation of a gorgeous granddaughter clock still occupies a prominent place by the entrance. The Sutfield Museum on the 2nd floor is a little known gem
Warren -Trumbull County Library. Newly renovated state of the art facility. What an awesome transformation.
Newly remodeled, clean and fresh spaces for all ages. The children's section is colorful and inviting. There are computers throughout all departments. The face lift and addition are both week done.
