1 star. I’ve been to this restaurant on multiple occasions, and this is hands down the worst service I have ever received from this establishment. We were not checked on a single time, asked how the food was, etc. If they had bothered to ask, they’d have been informed of a bug being in a salad they served. When we informed the waiter of the bug, our waiter who was only coming to our table to ask if we were ready for the check, said something to the tune of “oh I’ll go yell at them real quick”, and returned with our check within 1-2 minutes. We were charged full price for everything, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but the complete sense of indifference on their end was troubling. Will be in contact with the Kansas Dept. of Health for a thorough inspection.

We orderer from the lunch specials, i had enough to take home for dinner! Food is very tasty. Service was lovely, I will definitely be back soon!Food: 5/5

I don’t normally write reviews, and typically I like this restaurant.  Tonight was an exceptionally bad experience.  The wait was normal for a Friday night When checking in with the host, she said it would be appx 30 minutes. She asked if we wanted to wait outside and they would call us because it was crowded.  She took down our phone number and we waited in the car. 30 minutes later we went back in and they had past us.  She said “we called and no one answered, we must’ve called the wrong number, let me see if I can squeeze you in.” After being “squeezed in” the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink and came back immediately with drinks asking if we were ready to order.  After that, the service became very slow/non existent.  After the food came out, I noticed the lobster on my baked lobster roll was burnt.  When I say it was burnt, I mean you could pick up all of the lobster that sits on top as one big piece.  When I brought it to the attention of the staff he said “oh, that’s how we’ve been making it now. We just burn the lobster at the bottom.”  I acted very surprised and he responded again and said “that’s just how we make it now, I’m sorry if you don’t like it.  If you want we can remake it, but that’s just how we do it now.” I said no thanks, I just want to eat the roll at this point.  We were there for 2 hours from first check in to leaving.  Overall not a great experience,  and I thought it to be very bizarre that any restaurant would intentionally burn their food.  If I could make a recommendation I would suggest them changing the name of that roll from baked lobster to burnt lobster.

So first off the ac didn’t work .. but that did nothing to take away from the stellar atmosphere we were immediatly greeted and seat . Me and mother were having a mother son date . We both love sushi. She ordered a sake cuz I was driving it came very fast I perfected a flaming baked salmon roll it came out on fire . The place is greatFood: 5/5

Outstanding service. Will return. Wish they had brewed hot tea. Had to use a tea bag at table after waiting for hot water. It worked but only one cup, wished for more. Lunch specials are amazingly cost effective and beautifully presented.  Vegetarian options: It can be a place to fill you up...  Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free options are available

This was our first time ordering West location. I called to inquire about their lunch specials, if it was available on weekends & the differences between the lunch & dinner for the Bento Box  there is a 4.00 price difference. I was originally told the dinner came with an extra side, more protein & Extra tempura veggies. When I called back to order, the "manager" told me it did not come w/extra side but the rest was correct. We opted for the dinner. When we received our to go order, it was the same exact portion size as the lunch special. I called & s/w the manager to inquire why?? He stated he packed it himself & it was the dinner size, although they had no specific weight or measurements for the protein. I disagreed, informing him my son orders the lunch special all the time & it was exactly the same amount of food. He continued to state the same. If it were only a small difference in price, it wouldn't be an issue, but we basically could have ordered another meal for the additional money we spent for the 2 dinners w/same amount of food as lunch portion. I work hard for my money & tired of food service giving you less than promised or the quality is lacking. DO YOURSELF THE FAVOR & get the lunch special!! Don't waste the extra money for the dinner. I will not patronize this location again!!

Quite good. Really fresh stuff. Was super busy, which is a good thing! Just had to check up on the waitress. She forgot our appetizer, we had our dinner before that... And the appetizer came out AFTER we finished our dinner. Good experience though.Food: 5/5

So fresh, so good, so clean, and good customer service. Best sushi in Wichita in my opinion!!!!. If you looking for sushi in Wichita, I recommended you to try out this place. Fact... I usually don’t eat raw fish, actually I don’t like fish because of the fishiness but this place knows what to do with their fish and I enjoy eating there.
