The Global Education Office is committed to encouraging all students to study abroad at some point in their college experience at WC. Besides the obvious benefits for those students studying another language and international studies, studying abroad benefits students of all majors!

The Global Education Office (GEO) leads initiatives to support the Washington College community in its efforts to fully embrace and benefit from ideas, perspectives and activities that cut across and beyond national boundaries. In this role, GEO administers the college's study abroad programs, provides programming and services to international students that are specific to their international status, advises faculty on overseas activities, and develops initiatives to further internationalize the campus.
