The Primary purpose of the Washington Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of Washington Borough, Warren County, NJ from fire. This shall be accomplished through fire suppression, training and public education. The department shall also assist other emergency response agencies when the department training, apparatus or equipment may be required. The Washington Fire Department is an equal opportunity organization that operates under the guidelines of the Borough of Washington and the State of New Jersey.
