Waterford Police Department

I have purchased a Ring cam to record the Waterford police if that tells you anything. Record everything . They tried to come in and search because of something my roommate didn't even do and already learned my lesson the hard way from helping them. So last they came here dressed down with the woman officer with the short hair telling me my dog bit a neighbor trying to pet him when all she needed to do was show a warrant and she said well it worked didn't it when I said so you just lie?... what a great role model! Also, I've had several traumatic things happen here and am disabled but they don't care so I've decided I will record everything from now on. Hire a lawyer before talking and considering I don't ever break any laws it's genuinely discouraging to feel this way.

I called to make a police report about my debt card information being stolen as I was instructed to by the bank, and this police department refused to even make my report because it wasn't a CRIME! GREAT JOB WATERFORD. KEEP IT SAFE.

Just Had car 30 ride my butt at an unsafe distance. I literally pulled over because he got so close to my truck. So I called and talked to a Sargent who basically told me that he was not in the wrong and he was on his way to a call. I said he had no lights or sirens and that it was not right he was putting my life in danger. The Sargent said he was not putting my life in danger and that basically what I was saying meant nothing. I feel like if you want a good community you should lead by example. That officer showed no value towards my well being by driving the way he was. Shame on you Waterford police for not caring about you residents well being

Last Thursday we had a family tragedy occur in Waterford that involved my 5 year old grandson. The 2 officers were Sergeant Warner and Officer Fortin. Both were very professional and above all they were very protective of my grandson in a very troubling situation. Not only did they handle the situation with professionalism, they also gave the child several books and toys from their trunk since he had been stripped of everything. When I left with my grandson, he wanted to hug them both. Thank you guys! I hope this message finds its way to the Chief. These guys did a great job.

We’ve been having an issue with the neighbors. This has been ongoing for over a year. We’ve called the police numerous times for various different reasons, such as: loud music which shakes the house, vandalization of stolen property, stolen property, and malicious distruction of property. The police have done absolutely nothing to try and stop it, and even left out some of the reports. They refused to come out, when I called the other night, because I am a minor. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with the police. We have all of the things that the neighbor has done on video, we also got a $650 survey, that the police refuse to look at. This is ridiculous. The police requested the survey, then refused to look at it.

My times with 2nd best police dept.,Has always been A+,the police motto,has always been is to serve,and protect.Except,this policemen,and policewomen,go the extra,mile.And that is not exaggeration.These highly trained,are people just like you or I,that is some have spouses,sons,and or daughters,other words family men,they all work and live in the town we live in,some have lived in this area all their lives,and are dedicated,and have vested interest in keeping their township,safe,protested,and peaceful,and serene.I know in the news,recently we hear of a few police in other places,not here where the citizens,have prejudged those police all doing their jobs,as they have been trained to do,they all feel use force as a last result.I believe should be found,not guilty of any,or all charges.What you see on television,by reporters might not,have all the facts,the real true.Heresy,in any court of law,anywhere,in any court of justice,they can only take eyewitness accounts,not what hear,from their neighbor.2 of the cases where someone was a victim,its unfortunate but the one in Detroit I blame the the father of that child,for putting both his child and mother,and daughter in possible harms way,him and the other guy a had murder a 16 year youth in cold blood.Then ran from the scene,instead of turning himself in,no he took his problem back to his mothers home,and was hiding in a upper bedroom,leaving his mom,and daughter downstairs,all the lights where off in the house.Instead of ding the correct thing,he did't if any one should be on trail,not the swat team trying to capture a murderer.If we did not have law breakers,the police would have a much easier job,but thank our god,and the men and women trying keep the peace,keeping law breakers off our streets,and letting those who believe,the good right and just,will always prevail.My name is Michael K.and wife of almost 10 years,say the Waterford Township Police Department,Have a safe Christmas and a Wonderful 2015.Any guys,I have your back,keep up the good work! This dispatcher refusing to send help for a baby trapped in a hot car should be fired. How can residents trust her common sense to make good decisions.

Allowed a drunk man behind the wheel to get a ride home not a dui. Never asked the laundry place for camera footage knowing they had it bias and rude and want to come after me for making them do the job our taxes pay for. I think Oakland county should just take jurisdiction over
