Watersview Restaurant offers steaks, seafood, pasta & chicken all expertly prepared. Our Chef creates weekly "Chef Specials" offered Friday and Saturday after 5pm. Watersview Restaurant offers the most beautiful view of Lake Gaston from any seat you choose. We have available a small private room or large banquet room for booking your special events, such as weddings, holiday parties, anniversary parties, company parties, etc.

Outstanding! Food, service and location is superb. From the moment we walked in we were very well looked after. Our waiter Skylar was very attentive and we couldn't have asked for a better person. The menu is excellent, the only problem is deciding what you want to order as it all seemed wonderful. The food once arrived is well plated and looked and tasted fantastic. We started with the sashimi, I then had the captains platter of shrimp and rock fish, my wife had the seared tuna. All is absolutely amazing with great taste. Our dessert again was truly wonderful. We now have another go to place! Please give this place a go, 5 stars from us. I would rate the cost as $$$ depending on what you order. Wonderful experience and we will be back.
Absolutely Incredible. Our server Katy was extremely attentive and so personable. Her suggestions were perfect. The Calamari was so good, lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. The seafood dip was also really good. The 12oz Ribeye Katy’s suggestion: was probably the best Ribeye that I’ve ever had. Literally cut it with a fork and butter knife. Hats off to the Chef and with such great customer service from the entire staff that we interacted with we will absolutely be back and tell all of friends and family to check this place out. Such a great experience. Thank you all!!!!!
Had a delicious lunch today with hubby. Our waitress, Gwen, was excellent and made good food recommendations. View was great from the deck. Would definitely go back!Food: 5/5
We enjoyed ourselves immensely! A wonderful post quarantine reunion for me and my sisters after not seeing each other since 2019. The atmosphere was peaceful, serene, and the music was on point! The bartender Jessica makes a mean white sangria, and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. Our waitress was attentive and our orders were accurate, aesthetic, and quite delicious! Upon our departure, several staff bid us goodbye and the general manager came over to ask how was our visit and invited us back for live entertainment during the weekend. We were very touched that he spent several minutes with us before we left.
Delicious food and great service at an incredible location. I ordered their bison burger and their old fashioned cocktail, and they were both delicious! The burger was among the best I've ever had, possibly the best among bison, while the old fashioned was the best I've had at a restaurant in a long time! Don't listen to the couple bad reviews, this place is great!
Watersview has the best chef on Lake Gaston! Hands down! Their menu is short and perfected. The sunsets are unmatched anywhere else. What a beautiful way to enjoy dinner with friends or loved ones. #lakelady #whereispamelaFood: 5/5
We love this restaurant. It’s the best place to eat at Lake Gaston. There’s no comparison. The General manager is fantastic and we loved our waitress. They handled our 14 person table with kids and all our special requests amazingly. We will be eating here every time we come to the lake. The food was the best. The barbecue sandwich, onion rings, crab dip, Reuben, Thai wings, and burger were highlights. They kept all our drinks filled and could not have been sweeter to all of us. We love them and highly recommend.
The chef produces delightfully delicious dishes. The presentation of the meals is pleasing to the eye. The staff are fun, friendly, professional, and attentive. The entire restaurant both indoor & outdoor is inviting and cozy. The cleanliness of the restrooms is truly remarkable. I look forward to many future visits.Food: 5/5
First time to Lake Gaston and my family ended up eating here two lunches in a row because it was so good. My kids enjoyed the kids menu while my wife and I savored the Louisiana Po'boy, the Reuben, and the Angus Burger. Very good food and excellent sweet potato fries. We will definitely come back the next time we are at Lake Gaston.Recommended dishesAngus Burger, Sandwich
The atmosphere was very cozy for a rainy afternoon. Sitting by the window looking out over the lake was very picturesque... Everyone was very friendly. The food was AWESOME!! My only disappointment was there was no seafood soup/bisque/chowder available to help stave off the chilly wet weather. No worries - I will return there again!! Parking: Ample parking close to the entrance, including handicap accessible spaces. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance has a welcoming ramp.
