Great for kids, family, teens and all ages! Snack bar, and public restrooms are included as well. You can get a membership, or pay $10 CREDIT/DEBIT no cash, as a guest! Nice pool, and eating areas. They also have large umbrellas to sit under!
Terrible experience. Belonged to this club in 2016. Everytime that we went, the water was freezing, Pool wasn;t clean to begin with, but, someone, as a prank, had been depositing fecal matter in the pool for a week straight. The pool would close literally 3 minutes after we got there. Snack bar prices are outrageous. Nothing for adults to do besides swim. Nobody is very friendly- I asked someone the time and got a dirty look. The kids weren't friendly, and the only place to put our stuff down was by the fence. Hopefully, everyone had a better experience than we did. :
Waveny Pool is a beautiful Olympic size facility with an adjacent under seven yr old kids' pool. It is the community pool of the Town of New Canaan for residents and their guests only. There is a wonderful concession stand independently run that serves lunch and early dinner.
It's true. They didn't turn on the heat for most of the summer and the water was cold, cold, cold. I don't get it. You'd go and see tons of kids just standing around and the pool empty. People pay a LOT of money to live in this town and they pay extra to use that pool. But the guy who runs the pool is too cheap to use the heat? The town spends tons of money on things that only benefit a small number of people - things like the new sidewalk on Weed near Irwin Park and the boatloads of money they spent on those new offices for town employees. But then when there's something that so many people use like the pool but they're too cheap to turn on the heat? It diminishes significantly from the feeling of community. We've loved this community for a long time but we're becoming less and less enamored and might move.

We as a family, have been swimming at the Waveny pool for two years, and my son has had many first, so it holds a special place in my heart, the staff are very nice, and Brooks knows the first aid room well, the life guards have bandaged him a few times
Great pool. BUT if they don't turn the heat on nobody wants to use it. No kids and the vast majority of adults don't want to swim in freezing water. Will you please turn on the heat?
Such a great place for families. There is a big parking and a small pool for little ones!!! Loved it.
Always call ahead; if there is any rain or potential rain in Connecticut or any other part of the country or other countries, they close the pool without warning.
Excellent for families. A jewel within New Canaan' s crown jewel Waveny Park.
