Wellington Park Care Centre

I have been coming to wellington Park for just a few short months to care for a couple residents and I have never been inside before this time. I have been in quite a few different care homes and by far wellington park is my favorite, this facility is warm, welcoming and clean in all ways! I have to say I'm very impressed in that aspect. I have yet to come across a staff member that isn't friendly, with covid and lock downs, people's personal lives there is always a smile in this facility. I enjoy coming to wellington Park and I hope to be able to continue going in to care for their residents when needed. Amie From Home Instead

I'm shouting from the rooftops that the staff here is so awesome. Love every single one of them for the amazing care to residents! All the workers and the residents were given the vaccine on Wednesday! I haven't seen my mum since September but send cards and drop treats! Patricia is always awesome as letting me know how mum's doing when I call. THANK YOU! YOU ARE ALL APPRECIATED SO VERY MUCH! I was able to get mum into Wellington Park Care Center in July of 2019! My mum was in this residence when it was a retirement home! So getting her back to a familiar setting was wonderful! Patricia Robinson has been my Angel on Earth in getting my mum settled and keeping me updated! With health issues of my own it's wonderful to rest knowing my mum is safe and well cared for! My mum is on Rose Court and many the staff members have been there for years! I've got my mum back! She used to call and say get me out of this place when she was in a dump in Etobicoke! Now it's so funny how she doesn't want me to visit too long as she has activites to go too! To the staff at Wellington Park you're awesome! You know you are as I tell you when I see you! Patricia has been my go to person during Covid! Patricia knows I adore her I tell her all the time! I sleep better at night!

My father briefly attended the "Back to Home" rehab program they offer government funded. The resident physician Dr. Cameron displays a lack of regard and concern for the residents, does not follow-up and does not provide accurate diagnosis'. The majority of the staff are uneducated and careless with the residents. Call bells going off for long periods of time, nurses not always on the floor. It is run very poorly. They do not care about the resident needs, only about the government pay-check. My father actually declined in their program. Do not put your family member in here unless you want a rough ride. Terrible place.

The staff are kind, helpful, informative and compassionate. My father is getting great care there. Our family checked out many homes before choosing Wellington. We know we made the right choice.

I went to leave but did not know the code to get out and no one was around at the lunch hour. Can they not have the written somewhere where the residents don't know but guest will?

Best place to work, fantastic management.
