Wells Fargo History Museum
"Step into a historical experience for the whole family. The museum is inside the painstakingly reconstructed Colorado House in the heart of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Inside San Diego's first two story hotel you'll discover an original Stagecoach offering visitors a glimpse into 19th Century travel. After sending a message via telegraph, explore the interior of an 1800s stagecoach station. Other popular exhibits include a solid gold pocket watch presented to San Diegan Thomas Davies in 1871, gold nuggets and coins, a rare Banjo clock and more. The museum store features a variety of Wells Fargo branded gifts, collectibles and apparel and admission is always free. A Wells Fargo ATM is conveniently located in the museum."

Very interesting museum for whoever iz interested in banking. Seing how banking was done and how money was moved long time ago in the West is very interesting. The museum is small but holds a lot, staff is really helpful.
I’m not a big fans of the Wells Fargo personally after the fact. But it’s very educated after reading all the fact that was on the display.
A great little museum and the building is packed with period memorabilia.
Small but interesting. One of the original Wells Fargo stage coaches is here. That's a highlight. The docent was very friendly. Four of five stars since it's a lot about promoting Wells Fargo bank, and I'm not a fan. Interesting to hear bout how people transported money, valuables, and themselves before the automated age!
On my first visit to San Diego in 1991, I visited the Wells Fargo Museum and was amazed at how small the stagecoach was and how many people it carried. As a history teacher, I gained a new appreciation for the difficulty of travel pioneers faced. Now, 18 years later, it is still awe-inspiring.
Nice museum, a Wells Fargo Stagecoach takes precedence. Then there's plenty of historical information to read and artifacts to see. I enjoyed watching the video, and my... goodness, I touched these sensor motion artifacts, and what appeared? You have to go, and check it out-
A nice, free museum on Wells Fargo Amazon of 19th Century America. It's free
A quaint little museum that provides a touch of times long past. Where horses and carriages were the means of transportation. The carriages are nicely preserved and give a feel of the craftsmanship that was demanded to build not only a stable but also good looking vehicle that could withstand the less than ideal roads.
When you visit Old Town, be sure to swing-by the Wells Fargo History Museum. My wife & I came to the west coast in 2001, and had no idea what an influential role Wells Fargo played in the region's history. Especially if you're a history buff.. Plan on spending a little time here.
Historical with a touch of chamber music. One of the worker's in 1800's garb could have smiled more. It put kind of a damper on the experience.
