The hardest part of this process was getting the courage to walk into the office. It felt strange. But once I met Frank and started to learn about the many options I knew I had chosen the right monument company. I was pleased with their process and explanations for what to expect at each step. I was disappointed the stone would not be ready for my fathers birthday but I now understand there are a lot of steps to accomplish and it is a process. So far so good and I feel good about getting this done for my dad.
As the 50th anniversary of my mother’s passing approached, I sought to place new upright headstone at her grave. I received several company names for consideration from the cemetery and settled on Wellsmere. As I live out of state, contracting took some trust. The company was a joy to work with- true to their word, fair in their pricing, realistic in setting expectations and prompt in advising me of changes. I could ask for no more. The end result was everything I had hoped for and consistent with the drawings. Wellsmere and their team of craftsmen enabled me to honor my mother as the 50th anniversary of her passing approached. The monument came out absolutely beautifully.
We had no idea how to go about buying a monument. Joseph and Frank talked us through the steps and hung in there through a number of design changes. Not a pleasant task but it went much better than we imagined.
Michael Thrailkill is an incredibly dishonest person and a crook. DO NOT PURCHASE A MONUMENT FROM THIS PLACE!! Six years ago in 2016 I purchase a monument for my father’s grave and cups for my mother’s grave. I walked into Wellsmere looking to get an estimate from them and their competitor, Davis Monuments, which is down the street. Michael Thrailkill told me that Davis is closing and and Davis is sending all of their customers to Wellesmere. Unfortunately, I believed Micheal Thraikill, bought the monument and cups for both graves, just to have everything removed without any type of refund or explanation. Every time I called to talk to him he either hung up on me or was unavailable. Six years later he sends me an email about restoration “It has been six years since we completed your family memorial. You made some difficult choices then but in the end everything came out beautifully.” I called Michael Thraikill to ask why would he send me that email when he didn’t get the job done, took my money, and never explained why. He hung up on me. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. By the way, Davis Monuments never went out of business. They are currently still operating and have been for over 150 years!
Outstanding! During the difficult Covid-19 times, we were able to complete the entire process through phone calls, e-mails and texts. The result at Mt Hope was so impressive, we had them do another gravestone at Holy Cross, immediately thereafter. Frank and Joe really care about your satisfaction, led us through every step and kept us updated throughout the process. We were thrilled with the results.
Excellent job! My family was very pleased with the final results.
Please note that Michael Thrailkill was a great employee who only worked here at Wellsmere Monuments for a very short time in 2022.
