This location is very nice, always clean and the people working here are always very pleasant. But it's not near my house, I have other closer WellStars near my house but my particular specialist is here and I don't mind the longer ride because the location is easy to get to and facility is wonderful. There is also a Starbucks affiliated coffee eaterie area at the bottom although note that they do not take the Starbucks card.
All Praise to the Most High!!!!! I called yesterday to book an appt for the Cardiology Calcium Test CT scan, and they booked me for a 7:30a test with a 7am arrival here at the Wellstar Vinings Health Park location. I thought to myself that it was going to be a challenge getting up at 5:30a to get there because I live so far and I went to bed very late this morning. The ENTIRE experience was a blessing! From the commute and arriving to the hospital. The presence of the hospital is beautiful and clean. The atmosphere was absolutely welcoming. They had gospel music playing that made it so peaceful. That's unexpected from a business and I loved it. The staff from security, registration and the CT technician Creig, was absolutely amazing and very friendly and considerate. I am so glad the Most High saw fit for me to come here. This is my first time here and I will choose this location again in the future if needed! All praises to the Most High and the Messiah!
Don't go to the urgent care with anything urgent, like an obvious hand fracture, for instance. You'll be made to wait while they see stable, non-acute patients for hours, until your loved one can't take the pain any more so you go elsewhere. Didn't even bother to image the hand while we waited, like any facility worth a damn would.
This place had less than 3 stars when I left my review last week. Do they pay to take out the reviews? Because I can’t find my review. This lady at the front desk was so rude and didn’t want to service my family because they didn’t speak English. I tried translating on the phone. She knew it and avoided talking to me and helping them. She was so rude my family wanted to leave without getting the medical attention they were needing. How can such a racist unhelpful person be in a position where she has to help others? I complained to the supervisor, it sent me to voicemail and I still haven’t been called back to talk about this terrible situation. The receptionist wanted my non English speaking family to tell her what i was saying. Also she exposed my private billing information I was placed on speaker phone because she didn’t want to speak to us and she needed me to provide the information but at the same time not talk to me. What kind of person does that? Many things weren’t ok about the experience with her. What do you have to say about this Wellstar Vinings Health Park?
I had a terrible experience with Hannah and Nashell at this location they were awfully rude and failed to treat me with respect. Especially Nashell. Her behavior was extremely hostile and aggressive. They were talking to me as if I was a child. I will be contacting their manger and hopes that the calls are recorded because when I called they were EXTREMELY rude, mean and ill-mannered for no apparent reason. As far as doctor Rodriguez. He was very kind and understanding to my concerns.
I very rarely write any reviews, but this place is an exception! I cannot believe how great of an experience it was after going in for an endoscopy/colonoscopy ironic, right?. The ladies in the surgery center are phenomenal! I am very hesitant to trust doctors/nurses after going to Piedmont/Emory and going through a traumatic experience of painful complications from a gallbladder removal and stress with dealing with doctors and nurses who did not seem to care about my pain and problems. After going through Wellstar, and meeting my amazing gastroenterologist, Dr.LaFontaine, I have experienced nothing short of accommodating and timely care. After months of constant doctor and hospital visits, I finally feel heard and relieved to have answers and a path to recovery. Not only did she touch every basis to rule out any possible illnesses, but she also didn't just push pills and only provide "bandaids" to my chronic pain. After arriving at this beautiful location, I am automatically greeted with friendly faces. The women in the waiting room I believe the main woman I spoke to was named Linda? were so kind and uplifting, and I automatically knew that I would have a comforting experience for a not-so-comforting procedure lol. I was brought back and greeted with many beautiful smiles and kind faces nurses, doctors, surgeons, and techs; everyone made me feel welcome. I felt very safe and supported, especially with a mostly-female staff considering I've had unpleasant experiences with male doctors in the past, and it was very empowering to see so many wonderful women who are passionate about their work! My RN, Zennata, was so kind and gentle toward me and made sure I was comfortable; she did a wonderful job. The staff are so upbeat and interact with each other and their patients jokingly and there's a very friendly positive environment, unlike most hospitals and clinics I've been to. The surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses who did my procedure all greeted me and explained the procedure thoroughly; making sure I did not have any concerns or questions. One nurse in particular, although I do not remember her name, comforted me before I was put under by discussing where I had planned to eat after and explaining to her that I enjoy the vegan places in the area, to which she told me of some amazing suggestions because she apparently shares the same tastes! After the procedure, I noticed that she actually wrote down her favorite breakfast vegan spots and their addresses on a sticky note and placed it with my discharge papers thank you so much if you happen to read this, I went to Cultivate Food & Coffee and it was delicious!. I had a quick recovery and they explained the results and follow-up procedures to my mom, as well as giving me a physical folder containing all of the papers and written instructions and findings. I am not worried to have to wait days on end without any word of my results or contact from my doctors, unlike other healthcare providers, because with Wellstar I have always received lab and test results very quickly. Nothing goes to question, and you aren't left in the dark and stressing over hearing a response. Anyways, I highly suggest you give Wellstar, and this clinic, in particular, a try especially if you cannot find answers with anyone else and need amazing gastrointestinal care. Thank you ladies!
They Lost our appointment. Now they say it’s a 2 hour wait even though we made an appointment. Gonna spend my entire morning here and afternoon here not because of anything I did wrong, but because they can’t even keep track of their own appointments. DONT...FREAKIN...BOTHER with this place!!!! Fail Star is more like it.
Do not use the primary care at this location. Had problems with Dr. Shin and her nurse. I have been a patient at this office for a long time. My amazing doctor left and I was handed off to a nurse practitioner overseen by Dr. Shin who continued Rx’ing my medication until it was time for my vacation asked to have the controlled medicine moved to another state where I would be, the pharmacy informed me they could not accept a GA Rx, then when I asked for it to be moved it back and was met with the Doctor requesting a psychiatric evaluation. This came after being Rx’ed this medicine for years. Called customer service about this issue it was never follow up on. When I followed up the staff tried saying the insurance flagged it, not the case, and then followed with the pharmacy flagged it, only reason it was flagged is because the doctor moved it to another state, which she should have been aware that her Rx was not allowed in any state other than Georgia. As we all are aware, psychiatry care is hard to obtain and very expensive and it was absurd after all this time of prescribing this medicine to now this is required this of me. I would find another location for primary care if I were you and avoid Dr. Shin.
Excellent experience at the urgent care late one evening. Kind, professional staff all around! We appreciated that, even though the wait was rather long, it was acknowledged and apologized for. Dr. Voon is great!
I took my 85 year old grandfather here last week and was very disappointed. First of all, Dr Adewale was very condescending. He was asking why I brought my grandfather there instead of taking him to the ER. He told us to go to the ER at Cobb or Kennestone and he would call and let them know we were on the way. We went to Kennestone and the ER was packed. After waiting for over two hours the doctor told us that he tested positive for Covid and released him. Now why couldn’t they have given him a Covid test while we were there? It could have saved us a trip to the ER! His appointment was at 9PM and they close at 10PM. I also heard one of the staff members tell the front desk that they weren’t taking anymore walk ins, so I just think they didn’t want to be bothered.
