The Baird family opened Wesley Apothecary, in 1964, as a community pharmacy servicing the needs of the Glenside, Pennsylvania area.
The family expanded their business operations by opening Baird Respiratory & Medical Equipment in 1978, with Terrence Baird as the original CEO and Lawrence Baird RRT, as Director of Respiratory. Greg Baird, Terrence's son, became the CEO of Baird Respiratory & Medical Equipment in 2003, after working in the business since 1988 as Medical Equipment Technician, Operations Manager, and Vice President in Sales.
Today, Baird Respiratory & Medical Equipment is a comprehensive health care organization providing CPAP/BiPAP, Respiratory, Power Wheelchairs and Scooters, Home Medical Equipment, Enteral Nutrition and a complete line of medical supplies.

Baird Respiratory & Medical Equipment corporate office is located in Glenside Pa. serving Southeastern Pennsylvania area, with a satellite and distribution office in Allentown, Pa. serving Northeastern Pennsylvania. In 2001, we were accredited by CHAP and since 2006, by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), receiving high marks and re-accreditation in 2009 and 2012. Meeting ACHC’s high standards insures that Baird Respiratory & Medical Equipment meets and maintains the highest standards of service.
