The Western Upper Peninsula Food Bank is able to offer a wide variety of food items (meat, dry good, canned good, etc.) for other nonprofit groups to purchase at a low cost to feed those in need.

The Western Upper Peninsula Food Bank started as a food bank service offered through the Community Action Agency. They later became their own official nonprofit organization in 2004. The food bank is able to offers a variety of food items (meat, dry good, canned goods, etc.) for other nonprofit groups to purchase at a low cost to help feed those in need.
We work closely with the Community Action Agency and assist by storing food items for their food pantry distributions to area residents who qualify for assistance. This includes monthly and sometimes bi-monthly pantry distributions to offer canned goods, dry goods, meat and more as supplied to us.
