This store carries everything you could ever imagine. The produce is always fresh and well displayed. There's a great variety of fish, cuts of beef, pork and chicken. If you can't find what you're looking for, the employees are very accommodating and will go out back and get it for you. The bakery is equally well stocked with a diverse variety of bread, rolls, pastries and birthday and special occasion cakes can be ordered. Ready made calzones and sandwiches are located next to the bakery. You can order sandwiches, a meal which varies each day. Hot dogs, pizza can be ordered to take out and at the front right side of the store where you can enjoy your meal. There are also a variety of salads; potato salads, seafood salad next to the deli section at the back of the store. Next to the deli, is the seafood section is located where fish, lobster, chowders and seafood stuffing is located. The dairy section is located on the right side of the store where a variety of cheeses, yoghurts, refrigerated juices, coffees, milk, cream,and eggs. There are 2 registers for customers with smaller orders. Also, customer service is at the front right side of the store.
It's one of the few MB around that has not done up grades. I only go there when I need a few things...in and out. THEY DO NOT HAVE PLASTIC you need to bring your own bags. They do have paper BUT if you are elderly or handicaped in any way carrying those bags will be difficult.
Love the new market basket. Updated with all amenities. Just unfortunate Riverside and Central plaza are closer to me.

Nice, clean, well stocked store. They almost always have all the registers open, so lines move quickly. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
