Get Healthy, Get Connected!
The West Side Advisory began as a grassroots effort in the winter of 2007 as a means to improve and establish communication between the communities' healthcare providers, public policy makers, and educators on issues related to healthcare availability, education and rural isolation on the west side of Stanislaus and Merced County along Highway 33.
In December 2013, The West Side Advisory became the West Side Health Care Task Force; a non-profit comprised of elected officials from Gustine (Merced County), Newman and Patterson (Stanislaus County), as well as representatives from Healthcare Districts, non-profit and private clinical providers, business and educational leaders, along with family resource and community based advocates.
With a vested interest in advocating on behalf of the west side, our mission is to attract, increase, and connect resources to the West Side Communities in Stanislaus County and Merced County through collaboration, leveraging, and leadership in order to teach, promote and encourage health awareness and healthy choices within the West Side communities.
