Nice place. Have a great time when we go. But..... we were sitting and enjoying a time alone and 5 people showed . Shoved us out of our seat. We moved and then had. Mess with me looks from the gals. Nice job., showing newbies a good welcome!!!! We will be back, but.. not moving to suit them!!!
We were there for my 3 sons' bowling tournament and overall it was an exciting day but the food service was not as great as it has been over the last couple years. My family spent over $100 on our lunches and the food was lukewarm at best. We had 2 items missing and when I pointed it out on my receipt I was snapped at by one of the staff and then told "give me a few minutes to bring it out" while rolling their eyes at me like I had done something wrong. I hope that was just a fluke and the next time we're there everything is outstanding as usual!
Westy's has always been the go to alley for me. Plenty of great memories. Even at the previous location that caught on fire. Took my 5 year old son there. His first bowling experience. They were very accommodating to his needs. Bumpers and ramps. He had a wonderful time. Many of the bowling was happening between lanes 25-40. I asked the attendant could he keep us away from all the action. He said he'll do his best. He stuck us on lane 1. The furthest possible. Very appreciative. Thanks Westy's. We will definitely return.
We used to love bowling at westys. But they recently changed their seating. Now everyone is practically sitting on top of each other. Won't be back here anymore. Sad day. We've been bowling here for 20 years.
The updated computer system was great. My youngest figured out how to put our pictures with our names. It was a great family outing.
Westy's is a great place to go to hang out with friends. They do get busy, but I love it here. And even better, they charge by hour instead of by game!
Westy's is always a great choice if you're in the mood to knock down some pins. The prices are good, they have a good selection of balls, and there are plenty of lanes so you can usually get on anytime. The food is also amazing the portions are huge too! There are also other game options like pool and ping pong. The full bar has a great selection and lots of drink specials.
This is my favorite bowling alley in Boise. They have a mellow atmosphere and quick service at the bar and restaurant. They serve typical bowling alley food and my mom loves their fries. They’re also extremely accommodating for people with special needs and will host tournaments for the special Olympics that are super fun to attend
This is a nice bowling alley tucked away off the street a bit. They've been around a LONG time so they are definitely doing something right! Atmosphere inside is clean and modern. Westys is a safe bet for family outings, date night, or friend's night out.
We have always enjoyed going to Westys. The only reason for the withheld final star is that in the day we went we were limited on our playing time that was not clearly explained. We had a good time nonetheless but it would have been nice to be able to complete our second game.
