We had an amazing day rafting for the first time out on the White Salmon! Went for the full day option. Our knowledgeable and skilled guide, Alex, was awesome. We took our 14 & 16 year old boys and they loved it bonus that their glasses remained intact Hands down one of the best things we’ve ever done. No regrets. Will be back!
What a great morning on the river! This was our first time in Oregon, and our first time white water rafting. Our guide, Thomas, was so competent and made sure we had fun in the river- he knew the currents and turns so well. Everyone in our boat followed his instructions, nobody fell out, everybody had a blast. Apart from my swimsuit, and may be a rash guard, you really don’t need to bring anything else. I purchased holders for my sunglasses at the store before we left. The picture package that they sell was great, but I do regret not bringing my GoPro. The water was absolutely freezing, and felt great. Will definitely go back in the future !
Paul and Morgan were fun, laid-back, and made me feel safe the entire time. They managed to pack in lots of skill training while also getting to know us and having what felt like a group of friends traveling along the river. Paul even spent extra time to teach me how to roll, a more advanced skill that wasn’t even part of the lesson, and worked with me until I got it down. They were friendly, informative, and highly-skilled kayakers who made the experience go above and beyond expectations.
Our group had an amazing time! We had so much fun in a beautiful and awe-inspiring setting. I can’t imagine a better experience. All of the guides were knowledgeable and professional. We felt completely safe and like we were in good hands. Kess guided our raft with care and charisma. 10 out of 10 experience! Would definitely recommend and return.
We had an amazing whitewater adventure with Ryan as our guide on the White Salmon River. We flowed over rapids with ease and never felt any fear. The river is gorgeous which flows through a forested gorge with class III and class IV rapids and then the big finale of going over the class V Husom Falls. I didn't have the courage to cliff jump in the narrow gorge but I found it fun to climb down and along the rock shelf in a cavern like grotto to our raft at the portage. The views here were beautiful! Kudos to those who jumped. It looked like fun! We were on the half day rafting trip with friends so we had a great time. I highly suggest doing the waterfall. It was a grand finale to a fun adventure! Ryan is the best!!! I highly suggest Wet Planet, they do a great job, from having knowledgeable guides, quality rafts and water attire, great photographers, and providing you with confidence to take on the river while feeling safe.
We had a blast! Our guide Cora was the best and safely got us down each rapid with ease: she was so friendly and sweet we miss her already! Would highly suggest booking as a gift for friends or family! Such a fun group bonding activity:
My wife, daughter and I had a great trip on the White Salmon River. Wet Planet did a great job every step of the way. From outfitting us to teaching us and making us all comfortable- they were great. Our guide Marcus was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the River and its history. His respect for the beauty and wildlife of the River made this a trip to remember.
First time going white water rafting today, had a fantastic experience. The rafts and equipment were in good condition, the scenery was beautiful, and everyone was very friendly. Our guide, Dalton, made sure that we had a great time, and I would definitely recommend him. He was very professional/experienced in the rapids, fun & easy to talk to, informative/knowledgeable about the environment around us, and he made sure that we were always safe while still having fun. Thanks to him, I had the perfect first experience of white water rafting, and I’ll definitely be going again in the future!
It was an amazing experience with wet planet. It was my first time river rafting and the guides ensured we had proper instructions and gear. We were in the water very quick and had a gala time ! Our guide Shep, was an absolute treat. Gave us multiple anecdotes and facts about the river and ensured we had fun for the entire 3 hour duration. We also got to jump off of a 25 foot bridge which was surreal but couldn't do the 12 ft waterfall because there wasn't as much water. These people tick all the right boxes. Would 10/10 recommend going with them.
We just got back from an amazing half-day trip on the middle section of the White Salmon with Wet Planet, and I have to say, it was an absolute blast. Our guide Ethan was incredible - he was so experienced and knowledgeable, and he really fostered a fun, safe, and encouraging atmosphere in our raft. I highly recommend that you ask for Ethan if you decide to go on this adventure - he really made the whole experience unforgettable. And trust me, if you're looking for a beautiful adventure, you don't need to look any further than this trip!
