We stayed 1 night The rooms were pretty big, the hotel is close to many places Manny is 2min, Malecon, about 3 min. Playa Bonita about 5min. It was comfortable. The only thing is if you have any concerns you have to call the front office. My phone wouldn't allow me to call for whatever reason. Good thing I booked thru a 3rd party so I was able to message them thru there when trying to check in. Also we had no light in our bathroom good thing we had a window but at night we had to use our phones to see. I messaged them thru 3rd party n said they would fix it in the morning. No big deal since we were only staying the night but it was kinda annoying using our lights off our phone to take a shower and our TV wouldn't work.
It is not at all what is pictured. Would not let us cancel. Room was 100 degrees and fridge not on. This place stinks! Rooms: Weak Noteworthy details: It as listed over charge for what it is . No stove hit room and fridge
#1 full kitchen and king bed free secured parking pizza next door some early Rv power wash... bring all except towels!!! Also more rooms on 2nd floor. Walk to "Manny's Beach club " for Bf, lunch, happy hour and dinner
Lived there in my trailer part time, half the time for about six years. Great place if you don't need to be right on the beach, reasonable prices not like the beach front RV parks. Totally secure, never had an issue. And protected from the salty Sea mist. Apartments and units for rent plus inside and outside storage.
My Husband and two small children just went and stayed one night. It was not hard to find at all. The room was clean, put together and simple. Perfect for a place to sleep and shower. It is only a 5 min drive to the beach and Malecon. It was quite and no issues sleeping, since your not in the middle of all the action. The price was perfect for what was provided. We showed up about 5pm... no problem checking in, check out was at 2pm . Because this place is such a great value, we are coming back in a few months for our wedding anniversary.
We were very impressed by our Whale Hill rental. When we arrived the A/C was on so it was so wonderful to escape the humidity. It had a mini kitchen with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and stove. The living room had a nice large couch with chairs and a dinette tabe for four. The bedroom had three queen sized beds and a t.v., and the bathroom was well stocked with guest towels and t.p. All the comforts of home.
I can't Express how much we lucked out with this place last minute on labor day weeked. The property itself is very cute and inexpensive. We were about 5 minutes away from malecon and 5 minutes away from El Mirador. Security didn't seem to be an issue as there are cameras and the owners live on the property. Our parking spot was right in front of our room where we could keep an eye out for it. The room was cozy and clean and the AC kept our room nice and fresh. We had a little refrigerator and a sink which we used as a bar. There was a spare bed which we didn't use but the extra blankets came in handy. The wifi was pretty fast and we were hooked to Netflix when we hung out in our room. FYI we paid $3 U.S dollars from here to Malecon and from here to El Mirador. Don't let these taxi guys scam you!!!! Its literally 3-5 minutes away from the main tourist places. However I loved this cute little spot. Hoping to come back soon. P.s. we paid $100/night during labor day weekend. I'm sure the rooms go for way less on non holiday.
We paid for 2 night and only stayed one. Our experience with the stay was unpleasant for being our first time visiting rocky point, they broke in to our truck and took a tablet, and also took the two side mirror of our truck. The rooms are very clean but the is NO security in the property. We were not the only family that had something missing from the vehicles, in fact a family had there car stolen from the parking lot. After this encounter we decided to leave, my husband went to drop off the keys and to speak to the owners and they were no where to be found or either they were hiding from the customers. PLEASE DO NOT STAY IN THIS FACILITY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS!
