Recently, My Father had passed and they had nothing preplanned. The owner: Sean Copeland, invited us to meet at his facility. Instead of tellng us "how it could go", he asked open ended questions and actively listened. He was pleasant, compassionate and an advocate for our families requests. Frankly, it wouldn't have gone so smoothly and my family wouldn't have been so comfortable if it weren't for Sean's approach. It was personal and professional. I beleieve it was exactly the way my Dad would have liked it. I would comfortably recommend Whelan Funeral Homes to anyone. Thank you Sean.

Sean and Curtis were exceptionally compassionate and patient while planning our mother’s service with us. They were accommodating to last minute changes, and went out of their way to make sure the day-of went smoothly. We truly could not have asked for more kind and considerate people to work with while grieving the loss of our mother. The space is also wonderful - much more intimate and personal than most funeral homes. It was a perfect fit for us, and we now all have a wonderful celebration of my mom’s life to remember.

Our family is so appreciative to Sean and Curtis for their humanity in dealing with our father's passing. They not only took care of my father, they took care of the whole family. They helped us all through one of the most difficult times in our lives with compassion, kindness and even a few laughs. I highly recommend them for any end of life needs.
